To promote all their teams, tbf, not just Arsenal. It has included teams like PSG, AC MIlan, Juventus, Real Madrid, and Inter. Not that any one of the teams actually cares about winning it.

It will pretty shortly, I reckon. Only used his name because of the circumstances of his departure. Most of the players mentioned i.e. Ashley Cole didn't leave because we weren't winning trophies.
Anyway, loved the Tuesday Club pod, great to have them back. Really enjoyed the long-list of potential coaches, favourite categories were the 'handsome foreigners who wear v-necks' and 'hardened EPL managers who've never had a shot at a big club' (included Harry Redknapp

That's nonsense. Everyone knows that Arsenal stacked the deck every year so they would win and have trophies to claim ownership of. Even Carlisle United, Fleetwood Town, and Kidderminster Harriers would probably win the cup every year against that garbage lineup.
Seriously though, I think 2013 might be the first year where they actually did stack the deck in Arsenal's favor with the teams they have playing us this year. If we don't win it this year...

Klopp would be ideal, but doubt he'd come here. Moyes would be great.
It was great even before the David Moyes game with the Saving Private Ryan reference and all

Yeah, just assuming they're in Qatar or Saudi Arabia
I liked the Di Canio bit, slightly erratic, fascist tendencies, wouldn't last six months, but what a six months!

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Said the difference between him and wenger is that he criticizes his players in public media and uses it to motivate them instead of wenger who's soft on his players and says everything is okay
Then he dropped the " I'm not wenger , we're different , I want to win"
Then he dropped the " I'm not wenger , we're different , I want to win"

That was classless by Mancini, no matter how badly he was being provoked. I've never seen Ferguson, Guardiola or Ancelotti throw their players under the bus either like Mancini does on a regular basis, yet they won far more than this moron did.

"I think Samir has fantastic qualities. With his quality, he should always play well. Every game he could be the difference. A player of this quality could be one of the best players in Europe. But it's not happening.
Sometimes a player thinks it's enough what they did the year before and doesn't understand that every day they should improve. If you are a top player you know you can improve until the last day of your career but sometimes you get players who think it is not important to work and this is their worst mistake. Samir can do better than this year. He is a top player but he has not been playing at his level."
And on Hart:
"But it's simple. If Joe continues to make mistakes, he goes on the bench. I've done it with Samir, (David) Silva and (Carlos) Tevez this season and it can happen with Joe. The problem is the goalkeeper makes a mistake, we have lost the game."

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Certainly different from Wenger. He's always been about keeping the clubs dirty business behind closed doors. He'll say something nice about Andre Santos if asked, then loan him to Gremio the next day, even if he is our only fit LB. I dunno, I never thought bashing your own players in the media was useful

Haha Mancini is speaking about real thing
Mancini won the EPL last season. And he is right. Wenger hasn't won anything past 8 years.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
http://gingers4limpar.com/?p=2665 interesting blog post on what I brought up earlier on the needed transparency between the board and arsene's decisions
I'm starting to believe that wenger doesn't want to spend money that is available(which doesn't really make much sense as you pointed out Ironchef) , and the board simply dont care to force his hand to get footballing success because wenger keeps getting them top 4 and profit regularly. Both ways its corrupt sighs.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Great blog, I've always like Gingers 4 Limpar. He certainly raises some good points. Just seems to me the board have more to gain by lying about the money to spend, than Arsene does not spending it. I remember reading somewhere, maybe it was the 'Arsénal' book, that the board had essentially lied about how much we had to spend and Wenger had taken the blame for it. I'll try to find it.
The board certainly seems complacent, and it doesn't help that there are less and less true Arsenal fans on the board, and that they're all 70+ years old. I'm sure they're all pretty happy with what they made.
It's hard to see what can be done. Piers Morgan says Arsenal fans need to wake up and realise Wenger needs to go, but Arsenal fans don't make these decisions. Some people have called for boycotting games to hurt the teams finances to make their point, but I think that's an awful idea. The only thing I've thought of is some kind of organized boycott of buying merchandise, programs, and concessions at the game to show unhappiness.
EDIT: This also made me think of the Tuesday Club pod after the AGM when Alan was talking about the end of the Q&A when people were still trying to ask questions and Hill-Wood called an end to it and said "That's all the questions we'll be taking, thank you for taking an interest in OUR affairs" Ridiculous. Obviously there's a large disconnect between the board and the share-holders not named Kroenke.
