I'm not totally convinced the watched the whole game. Dirk's defense was not horrible Smith just couldn't miss.
He had a hot night - happens sometimes.
Also, if you watched and listened to Mark and Harp then you'd know that the Mavs have a history of under-performing on the road against the Hornets even on our good 50+ win teams.

Yea I watched the entire game its easy to be hot when you're wide open and I don't need them to tell me about the history in new Orleans I actually watch the games and evaluate them for myself, we got the win but it was a piss poor effort against a horrible team , just like the orlando game was a piss poor effort until the last 8 minutes or so , the bottom line is this team doesn't have one ingredient to be a good team

Good Interview there with Vince, Vince is expecting to do this for a couple more years. And I LOVE him in the Mavs.. I know im not a team-first fan, but I swear this has been my favraite team since Nets... and I love everyone in the team, the coach, the board, everything. I really hope if Vince continues to perform he can continue to play for the Mavs until he retires. I hope you guys feel the same.

:D Would be great to keep him around. Just hope he doesn't ask for too much after his contract finishes

Bernard James had 7 blocks last night

From Elias: Bernard James blocked seven shots in just 15 minutes of action in the Mavericks' win over New Orleans on Friday night. Since the NBA began tracking blocked shots in 1973, only three other players had at least seven rejections while playing less than 16 minutes in a game: Caldwell Jones (1977), Manute Bol (twice: 1988 and 1992) and Sam Bowie (1992).

Call me negative all you want, we've only had two good wins all season, one was the first game against rhe Lakers which isn't w even a good win now, and the blowout against gsw who have all of a sudden fell off a cliff, the grizzles was a solid win so if u count that that's three quality wins all season. I'm not sure how much positivity u expect when discussing a sub .500 team but the standards around this franchise have turned to crap. We got guys on this forum calling a game against a team Thats 3-23 in their last 26 a great win........ really? Now if we beat the Lakers Sunday that'll be a great win
