buying out Maggette and others

Post#1 » by coolness » Mon Feb 25, 2013 6:07 am

Maggette has to go. For the sake of Middleton, English, Jerebko, Singler, others? and even Kravstov thru the cause-effect of having multipositional dudes. He wouldn't need a replacement. And this on a team that just lost 2 sf's for a pg!

Maggette could be bought out for 99% even and it would be well worth it.

What about....

Will Bynum????
Jose Calderson????? (yes, very unlikely)
Jason Maxiell?????

and what about bringing in Big Ben if Jason Maxiell happens to be bought out?
who would replace WillyB???? would a slouch like Russell Walker Jr. be worth it???

I'm in the tank, but with Rip's buyout coming off the books, we have $35 million ish in expirings so we might have like $25 million in crap space. Give an exact number if you have your Google degree.

Do we need any of these guys?

Even if we trade English, Middleton, Jerebko and Kravstov at the draft. Heck even Singler or Knight, their values could all be heightened thru some buyout doings....

What say you about this drunken post?
And throw me a bone on whatever came out wrong. Y'all know what I'm trying to say. :D

Well Maggette doesn't play and he's been a positive influence on Dre. Why not keep him around if he's not disrupting anything?

They just dealt for Calderon and he's not getting bought out. Bynum probably stays since there is no PG depth. I can't see Maxiell being bought out with the lack of big men depth we have. Maggette makes sense cause he doesn't play. I could see him leavin to go to a contender.

Agree. Might as well let him expire. He hasn't played in a while anyway.
