Would you consider this?
Detroit Trades: Stuckey / Villaneuva / 2nd Rnd Pick
Sacramento Trades: Thornton / Salmons
Why for Sacramento? Cut a year of each of Thornton / Salmons contracts.
Why for Detroit? Thornton hasn't performed as well in Sacramento. He is a better shooter than Stuckey and could fit in at SG. Salmons is another wing who has a decent 3 pt shot. He is expiring as our other young players are ready for extensions. Also doesn't really effect the cap space this year (both Stuckey and CV are under contract - highly unlikely the amnesty will be used anyway).

Re: Detroit / Sacramento
would consider it, Thornton would be nice to have, if we are taking bad contracts like that i would want a pick back...

If the deal brings about a Stuck-ectomy and a Villeneuva-otomy, I'm for the removal of those dudes big time. The erosion of Stuckey from last year to this year can only be explained by saying he has checked out. Zero passion. Zero effort. Minus positive minutes. Get 'em gone already!

Give us an unprotected 1st and sure. Otherwise Pistons can just amnesty CV31 and waive Stuckey with a partially guaranteed deal and have both of them only count for $4.5 mil in cap space towards this summer/next year.

Re: Detroit / Sacramento
That's too much money to take on for a bad player in Salmons and a very underperforming player in Thornton, I'd rather waive Stuckey and amnesty CV and try to add better players with that money.
Other than that I'm almost sure Salmons is not an expiring he is a partially guaranteed.

Re: Detroit / Sacramento
No way the Pistons touch that at the moment. Unprotected pick would be needed but i'd rather Amensity CV and use the cap space to absorb the deal because it would net more. Maybe our first and cap space for Their first, Thorton, and Cousins.
