Horford now officially with a 20/20 game, it's been a good one for him

Can I mention again how much I loved the Jones pickup? I love his hustle and his defensive knowledge. Some of the things I have watched him do defensively tonight just makes me smirk.

Smith Teague have been good. Al Horford has been amazing. He really has a Karl Malone esque game is you pick and roll the other team with him to death.

Ferry's a visionary, he filled a need of perimeter Defense by acquiring Jones and all he gave up was Morrow who was constantly hurt and never played anyway. If Jones plays like this the rest of the season then I would welcome him back with open arms

Some guys with good numbers on bad teams don't seem like they would translate to winning teams, but Monroe would be an all star lock on a food team. Dude has everything you could want. I hope ferry can Jedi mind trick Dumars into a Josh for Monroe trade in the off season.

They are going to Hack-a-josh.

I don't understand how the hawks shooting coaches haven't noticed his change in free-throw and jump shot and worked to correct it. If a amateur like me can see it, Josh in a place like San Antonio where their shooting coach is amazing would be LETHAL.

I know he didn't really do anything but I hate Petro. I will nonsensically blame him for that run.

Careful, Malone was a PF.

And that's MISTER Horford.

Anybody else notice that Smith is playing with a lot less energy since the trade deadline? I think the trade talk wore him down (and he probably was playing harder to impress everybody). Thing is, I LIKE the slower Smith. He makes more sense on the court. The rebounding is a little poor but the overall game is tighter.

Maybe we need to get Bull Durham's Crash Davis in here to teach Smith to "just be."

From what I've read, I think you're spot on. For all the grief I give Josh (and that he gives me), I have to admit he carried himslef very well amidst all the trade speculation. That kinda talk HAS to affect you on some level. Even more so since he's the hometown kid who's lived here (pretty much) his entire 28 years in life.

Yeah i agree, smoove is makes better decision when he plays slow and still gets his imprint on the game.

He was wiiiiiide open. The Pistons just watched him from the top of the arc. Horford had time to measure the shot.

But don't worry: he was giggling as he ran back.

Well he did lead the team last game in rebounding. Al just didn't allow anyone else to rebound tonight because every board was his property and he didn't feel like sharing.

But he has taken a step back as Al has been beastly....as he should.
