Seraphin is still glued to the bench. Wittman is making the right call here. Seraphin certainly can't claim that he didn't get his opportunity. Now it's time for Booker and Singleton to get some burn and see if one of them can step up and secure the backup PF spot.

 at times that's def true, but if you look at our game thread most fans were saying that we shouldn't underestimate the Wiz, especially with Wall back in the lineup, and how tough this game was going to be. We have over 800 posters, so there's bound to be some immature little kids, but the majority of the fanbase is level headed and with all the losing we've been doing over the years we never take a game for granted. There's a difference between "raps should win this one" and "raps will def win this one". Most of use give credit where it's due, so please excuse our small (but still larger than most boards) portion of ridiculous fans lol

Pretty classy post. Gotta respect that.

Rudy Gay with the monster night. 1-11 with 5 turnovers. Ewww. That is probably the worst game by any uninjured player in history on a dollars/production basis.

I know. Who does he think he is..... Wall ?

To be fair, at least Wall isn't paid $16,460,538 to suck.

I won't do it. I won't get my hopes up. Not this time.

Agree.. Just enjoy watching competent DC B-Ball on a fairly consistent basis, for a change.. Maybe next year on the post season if EG don't **** the bed and they stay healthy.. (But if miracles happen this year, so be it!)

I think he got a few scant minutes tonight.
Booker and CSing both have done well enough lately to get first looks.

...take a sip of the kool aid. Good teams are still able to win when they don't play their best. This wasn't a well played game but they still found a way to win. Would have lost this game 9/10 times in the past.

Baby steps forward.

When they were struggling on offense, I though more Singleton would have been a good move.

He is pretty much just a physical as booker but he ask a more polished offensive game. He has a little step back move to set up his J. Better outside shooter.

Not sure exactly why Randy is going with Booker so much more. Better rebounder ? Better at offensive rebound putback ?

Randy is defiantly not coaching for the tank. He is going to mostly age and experience except Wall and Beal.

the scary thing is what that comes to per game $200,738 and change.

POTG = Double B, The Real Deal Beal

Honerable Mentions
Price - They really wouldnt have won this without him stepping up.
Webster - He was fighting all game.
Oakfor - cleaning the boards.

Nene with a nice move down the stretch after a really rough first 3 quarters offensively. But he did keep rebounding.

The Wizards were 7-12 from 3, and two of those misses were desperation heaves by Booker and Beal. When they make 3s it seems like win pretty consistently. I can't remember too many games where they shot well from 3 and lost.

Beal and Webster have gotten to the point where they're just ridiculous. They've each shot 50% from 3-point range in 2013. And together they've combined for over 200 attempts.

Martel is now 2nd in the NBA in 3FG% while taking ~4 3FGA per game. :o

He's taking more 3's than he used to and making them at an even higher percentage. One long 2 he made tonight was ridiculous - it bounced several times, rolled around, and somehow went in. I hope this isn't fool's gold.

Yeah Ruzious, I remember that. Stepback fadeaway with the dude in his face. Bounced around due to back spin, sign of good form. What separates great shooters from the great.

His advanced shooting percentages are godly. .623 ts% and .571% efg. To put that in perspective, those shooting %s are higher than Steve Nash's during both of his MVP years.

Fair enough, and good point about the number of posters there.

I saw that the game thread reached 105 pages... :o :o :o

The funny thing is 11 of our next 12 are very winnable games, the only "hard" one being the knicks at "home." Hopefully Randy has the team actually taking it one at a time though.
