My lost goes at:
Noel
Muhammad
Smart
Mclenore

Noel. Regardless of his injury is a game changer. And a great complementary piece to Vuc.
Muhammad is a great player can create his own shot. Ad very crafty. Reminds me of Harden.
Smart, he is good.
Mclemore. Whats all the hype? Only reason he is a top 5 player is because this draft sucks.most, if not all, of his shots are basically off picks or set up. Cant create. I dont see him making that much of an impact compared to the first three.

Bazz and Mclemore IMO are way overrated because this is a weak draft, next year they would be lucky to go top 10, Noel is a project but with upside, and to the people saying Camby is his ceiling that would be pretty damn good next to Vucci, and Smart has the upside that a year off the bench fpr us would be great for him

Harkless has averaged 17 points on 51% shooting his last 3 games. :D

I mean this in all seriousness: how about resigning Udrih to be starter if he is willing to come back for cheap, Nelson off the bench, and Smart to learn from both of them? Make him 3rd string possible 2nd if/when Nelson gets hurt.

Is that similar to what you had in mind?

HECK NO! If we draft Smart, he better be starting as soon as we get him! I will never get how teams will draft a player with a top pick and then proceed to NOT start them.

BMP has laid down the Laaawwww!

My hope is he's vindictive this year and we pick somewhere from third to fifth.
Then next year he feels bad about it and rewards us with number one in 2014. Just sayin' !

It's because so many of the have been projects with amazing upside that may or may not have come to pass. Teams are all so often drafting on potential rather than immediate impact.

because they tend to lose confidence when they dont know what they are doing, get thrown into the deep end and dont do well against vets.

I agree. Noel is still my top choice even after his injuries. Smart is growing on me, but his TO, injury, and shot % is a little bit worrisome. Those are fixable though, except the injury but Noel got injured worse.

It's Noel for me. Evan if we have to sit him out. He is the right fit in the frontcourt for what this team has. We need a star SG, but i dont see that. Noel has a chance to be a game changer on defense, we need that next to Vuc.
A smart coach once said, "Potential just means you're not good enough yet." Playing on potential is like living on air: It's essential, but if thats all you have, you're eventually going to starve.

I find a front court duo of Noel/Vucevic to be very intriguing. The upside/potential of that duo could result in a front line that we could build around for ages. I like Smart but I'm nervous about potentially taking him at #1. He has some fundamental flaws that hurt you at the PG position and could result in him playing combo guard upon his first couple of seasons

If I'm henny and land the #1 pick. I trade it for 2 lottery picks or a lotto pick this year and next. IMO there is no #1 worthy talent. Grabbing 2 starters with a 5 and 10 pick for example is much more appealing to me

except there is no one in this draft that can garner 2 lottery picks.

Noel doesn't intrigue me at all.. He has absolutely zero feel for the game offensively. None, zilch..I've never seen a player so void of offensive ability in my life.

Picture an enormous fat person running in slow motion with their shirt off then tripping and falling down hill....That's what noel looks like to me on offense. And I have no idea why. The most uncoordinated thing pops into my head when I see him try to create offense.

He isn't a game changer in any way shape or form. How can someone be less skilled offensively than Bismarck biyombo?

This. No need for Darko on this team. People should learn from their mistakes and not take chances on players who are that deficient.

No way on Noel. Can't risk it. We've had enough issues with injured players. Too much of a chance to be the next incarnation of Sam Bowie...

Noel has been known as an underrated passer. But yes, he is extremely raw offensively. Your slow motion fat person analogy can also be applied to Vuc and Nicholson on defense..

Noel isn't a game changer in any way shape or form?  . Wow. Just wow. Want to rephrase that as Noel isn't an offensive game changer? Because that's a pretty ridiculous statement.

I really don't see the Darko comparison.
