I don't know why some of you are saying he might be a 15 PPG some day. He's that now with starter minutes. He could easily average 18+ next year for Orlando.

He could have averaged 15+ this year with us if we had a coach that didn't think letting two inefficient, brain dead guards take all the shots was a good idea.

He needs to prove he can do that consistently over the course of a season. I think there's little question he can but he still needs to show it. I agree his upside is in the 18-20 ppg range as I said before. But even if he doesn't get there he's already an efficient 15 ppg scorer when given legitimate minutes and opportunity. The fact he couldn't come off this team's bench is mind-boggling.

Thinking about this sh*t makes me want to take a bat and smash all the windows out of my car. For a 2 month rental of Redick we traded a guy who if he was still in school is probably the equivalent of a top 6 or 7 pick this year. We took him at pick 19 because he was so young and because of the type of prospect he could have become if he stayed in school for a year or two more and then we parked him on the bench for two years before trading him for a vet we could've signed two months later in FA. There's nothing else to say.

We all know whats going to happen. You want me to say it first. Harris this year will put up 15ppg and have a solid end of a season. Next season he will put up around 18ppg, 5 rpg, and play solid defense. Be a bubble allstar and just miss it. The season after that he will be putting up 20ppg and make his first allstar game.

Im sure Jennings will walk and the Bucks will settle giving Redick and Ellis new deals. Dont worry the Bucks continue the fight or quest for the 8th seed for the next couple years.

Kohl loves him some 8th seed. Hes fine with playing the Heat in the 1st round every year. Im sure ticket sales cant get better in those playoff games. He needs that extra cash to pay for Redick and Ellis.

Here is another fun link

Look at his November production and then look what we did with him. Why did he stop getting minutes? F this team.

Agreed. I haven't been this mad about the Bucks in a long time.

Man, watching that video has me even more pissed off. This is honestly **** ridiculous. One of the few parts I was proud of on the team, one of the main pieces that had me excited for the future.

Damnit I hate our ownership and front office so much.

Plenty of mediocre to bad players have been putting up solid numbers for the Magic this year. The team's points have to come from somewhere. I wouldn't put much stock into a few games, let alone get completely bent out of shape about it.

Tobes is already smooth on the offensive end, with a good handle and three point range. His D isn't there yet, but he's got the tools to at least be a solid defender, and an above average rebounder.

Just...ugh.

The games are just the cherry on top. This trade was an abomination the second it was made.

Plenty of us were arguing that Tobes was a potential 18-20+ PPG guy before the season started. Some of us argued it last season. :raises hand:

Yah. My opinion on Tobes is no different right now than it has been for a season and a half, and my view on the trade is no different now than the moment it was made.

Won't be if he goes scoreless for the next 3 games either.

I've already embraced this deal and just moved into the acceptance phase. Tobias is legitimately my favorite player in the NBA. I just wanna see him succeed and be as good as he possibly can. If it works out for him in Orlando, that's **** fantastic. I actually kinda wanna see Larry and Henson moved just so I don't have to deal with loving a certain player but hating the situation/team they're in/on.

Looking to get League Pass, just to watch Tobias play every night...I'm 100% serious, and I'm a college student with severely limited funds. I've already looked up tickets for when the Magic come to the BMO Sunday 1:00 March 17th.

Redick is better than mediocre.

My point is that 2 good games doesn't justify this level of whining. I didn't want to give up Harris either, but it remains to be seen if he'll amount to anything. Criticize the trade because of the potential we gave up, not because Tobias has played well in his last 2 games.

Magic fan here. I'm a big JJ fan. I agree with what an earlier poster said when he compared JJ to Ersan type of player. He will basically give you 15/4.5 apg on 45/40/90 shooting with decent team defense if given 30 mpg. He is also an extremely hard worker and has a great attitude, he will continue to work hard and sustain/improve his game over the next couple of years. And yes, he will get paid but his contract won't be a cap killer. I hope he can find a way to fit in with your backcourt.

Tobias is an intriguing player to me. He seems to have the size and athleticism to play both forward positions. He takes it strong to the basket and his jumper is pretty nice. He seems best suited as a sixth man but our team is so fluid with so many young guys that if he seizes the opportunity and earns the starting spot I can't be opposed to that. I think this trade stings a little bit less once Tobe comes back to earth and if JJ resigns.

Magic fan here. I didn't see the Magic-Cavs game, but against the 76ers Tobias didn't seem to have any defensive issues at all. Is that just Philly being bad?

Maybe someone here can help me out. I'm looking for a certain thread that was posted sometime earlier in the season that was if I recall a certain poster pointing out "young, underutilized" talent around the NBA that the Bucks should try to go after. On this list he was pointing out guys like Marshon Brooks and Jimmer Fredette and saying we should taking fliers on these type of guys.
