Re: The James Singleton Memorial 2012 D League Thread
Why are there not one, but TWO James Singleton threads on the front page?
Is this an indictment of Miller's board moderating abilities?

Hey, I'd rather see 2 James Singleton threads than pictures of the Luv a Bulls.

Does Kafi have a third... eye?
I was thinking - Why did Jordan retire from the Bulls, and a reason occurred to me.

Re: The James Singleton Memorial 2012 D League Thread
Didnt people use to talk about GS and how they use their DL. Well look where they are now....
Wizards are cheapskates...
The Wiz don't develop. Stop this DNP **** and move people to the DL so they can get some play time to improve their skill against others trying to prove something. Being on the bench all the time won't do squat!!!
Players need motivation. Look at Martin when he came here. He lit it up to prove a point. That's how you bring motivation out of your players who may not be top class to begin with.
Man, this team is so cheap and lame sometimes... Smh

What I'd give to have him back on the team. Why does this organization hate him so much?

How about Gerald Green making a return to the NBA?

Green also someone who should be given another shot, the key is to waive Mason and start trying these guys out.
Yeah CCJ, how about Gerald Greens return to the NBA?![]()
Gerald Green ends-up being one of the best 2nd-chance players coming out of the D-League recently. Phoenix made out like bandits getting both Green and Plumlee in that trade.

Re: The James Singleton Memorial 2012 D League Thread
The 76ers aren't too far from having played .500 basketball since both Carter - Williams returned from injury and they brought Robert Covington up from D-League.
Last night they beat Brooklyn. Covington had 20 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals, and went 3-6 from 3PT.
I posted montgs ago in another thread (while Covington was in D-League) that IMO he is even better than Otto Porter.
Right now the D-League has a potential backup PG who can help the Wizards: Tim Frazier.

I was going to post about Covington in the other game thread. The 76ers were smart to pick him off when Houston didn't have the room for him. The Lakers did something similar with Tarik Black (6'11 257 lbs). Imagine if we had not paid Kevin $3.8 mil? and just signed someone like Black.

Edit: Both Covington and Black are Rocket cast-off. Just goes to show how hard that scouting department is working.
