Nah, I could really care less about the playoffs. First round out no matter our seed, which will likely be 8. 8th seeds lead to Maggette/Gooden/Salmons offseasons. Just the way the franchise works.

I've admitted I think it would be funny if this team missed the playoffs again after sacrificing another asset to do it. But in the end I'd rather enjoy 4 games of playoff basketball, especially to see Sanders/Henson/Ersan in brighter lights. Still though, they'll get beat in 4 or 5 games making it another wasted year.

It's not even the pick for me, it's the mindset of the franchise. It's clearly different after a win then it is a loss. Completely reactionary franchise that needs to be sat in the corner to think about their actions for a little bit.

Haha....yes because the Bucks missing the playoffs has proven to shift Kohl's mindset and build a champion. It doesn't matter if we make or miss the playoffs. Herb will try to win in whatever season he is in. The philosophy will never change until we get a new owner. It is idiotic to root for the lottery at this point. You are basically rooting for the 8th seed if you are rooting for losses.

Monta Ella about to have the max.

I guess they sucked me in for Saturday nights matchup to clinch the elusive 8th seed.

I was rooting for losses after the deadline tbh, but after these two games where the home teams choked and losses by 9 and 10, there is no point.

I feel like it would be fitting if this team made a deadline move to secure a playoff spot and failed to make the playoffs for the third straight year.

Must hurt trailing such an incompetent franchise. As bad as the Bucks did this deadline, at least they didn't waste money or assets on Rudy Gay. Suck it Raps.

Cynical? Yes. Negative? No. I'm a **** realist. How you aren't is beyond me. After years and years of this dreck, you toot the horn, being so very, very close to tongue-in-cheek, but not quite. They ring hollow. They're nearly ripped off a page of Paschke's game prep. It's surface fodder, a post for the Bucks' Facebook page to plaster on your timeline in hopes of another ticket purchase.

But why? What has this team given you to believe that they're in the right? That they know what they're doing? That they're better than what they've shown over the last decade? Is it faith? Belief that if you hope long enough, they'll turn the corner? I'm at a loss as to why anyone in their right mind truly, honestly thinks that good things are happening with the Bucks.

So the Bucks are in a better position for the 7th seed...OR HIGHER!!! But does this team have the talent to climb the ladder? Do they have the competency to get higher? Or are they the same, mediocre roster of garbage that's permeated this franchise since 2004?

It's almost believable. But other posts of yours are coherent, specific, detailed and thorough. Certainly better than what I churn out more often than not.

So yes, I don't know if you believe what you say. Half of you makes sense. The other half comes from the team's payroll.

I might be a "cynical, negative ****" in your mind, but at least I don't blind myself from the mess this franchise is.

He didn't say we were going to win the Finals. This is way off base. It is just as believable that we finish above the 7th seed as it is we don't make the playoffs.

And in my opinion I'm rooting for the 8th seed if I root for wins, our fate is basically set IMO. It's a first round out, Kohl and Hammond getting into their mind that this team can actually do something with Monta at point guard and we likely pay a mediocre player like Josh Smith super star money to get us a couple 4th seeds. Not interest in that at all.

Couldn't watch the game tonight cause I live in Houston and stupid CSN is not on directv even with league pass. Listened to Ted Davis for the end. That was crazy! It was hilarious the way Ted just lit up Larry for taking a jumper late in the game but was cool hearing him call the block a few plays later. Random question, so was Sammy D even with the team or was he just a DNP CD?

It's completely on base. Is it mathematically believable? Duh. But mathematics is what simple people look at. Look at the team. Look at the roster, the cohesion, the playmaking. Are they better than what they are, which is a .500 8th seed?

No.

I hate the place our teams are in. With Gay now on board would you do a DeRozan for Ilyasova trade?

Nah if you'd paid attention you'd know that I love me some Larry and that block late on the fastbreak was AWESOME. He had a very crappy night other than that but that play was huge, maybe you disagree?

I think he got caught on a lot of head fakes, but I also think Houston has some pretty crafty players. But I value Larry for his durability. Bogut would have been out for the year with that back shot that Larry took two weeks ago.
