Who would u hire to replace Casey?

Post#1 » by mieshpal » Thu Feb 28, 2013 6:05 am

There are a lot of Casey haters out there and I'm not a fan of him as well, I wish he was just our defensive coach. Anyways, who would u hire to replace Casey if he got fired?

A good realistic choice imo is Nate Mcmillan.

I want a reputable and already established coach this time. No more taking chances with these new coaches like Mitchell, Triano, Casey. Stan Van Gundy

SVG loves spreading the floor and popping threes, I don't think he would be a good fit.

McMillan is probably more likely than Van Gundy.

SVG. If you're hiring someone, might as well hire someone who's won it all.

Unsure if the guys we want are available to this specific team. Personally I'd like for Bryan to attempt to lead what he put together himself by being a coach.

I understand SVG has had success, but look at the style he coaches and look at our talent.

Agreed we need a coach that has a offensive system with a lot of ball movement...I think Jeff is a better fit but hey one can dream

Well, for once he would be criticized by someone other than Raptors fans. For me it would be worth seeing considering not much will change with guys like Casey being heralded the latest scapegoat for this failure of a season

lol @ people suggesting JVG...
You think Casey's offense is bad, you should take a look at his. He does have good off the timeout sets, but my god..he slows the game to a complete crawl;doesnt give an eff on the other end and picks up a lot of Ts.

My ideal choice would be SVG
Sloan..would be nice but i think he's completely done.
My third choice would be McMillan

This or SVG of course, but I doubt Stan comes here.

Malone would be a great coach for this team. He's the main reason GS is as good as they are obviously they are a talented and deep team, but hoestly Mark Jackson can't coach anything. Also it would be cool to have the son of our first coach, coach this team.

Fire Casey.
Hire Triano back for 1-2 yrs, so we can tank properly.
Let ALL our contracts expire or trade for picks and dump DD as soon as possible.
Hire Sloan, then bring in players to fit his system and around Val.
