Nobody gave him credit for anything.

They are giving him credit for what he's done on the court, which at this point in pretty close to nothing. It's just that people are in here saying he'd put up more points than 2 of the higher scoring rookies and there is no evidence to back that statement at all.

I think Leonard can get there.....Just has to critically analyze his game and be realistic with himself.

If Beal or Waiters were on the Thunder they would be warming the bench as well

i don't think Beal would, his shot is too pure and play making ability far exceed anything Martin brings

He seems like a very skillful player. Had a really impressive summer league this year. Seems like a nice pairing with Asik. Moti covers the offense, Asik the defence.

Why is Lamb even being mentioned in this thread? Stating anything short of "TBD" is ridiculous.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

More NBA ready than Waiters or Beal? Beal and Waiters have been playing at a high level against playoff teams and your argument is that Lamb is dominating in the summer league? :eek1:

No one is punishing Lamb. That comment was in response to 22Wiggins ridiculous notion that Lamb was more skilled because he's dominating in the d league. Also if OKC was willing to trade James Harden for Beal, obviously there intention was to play him.

Waiters stats over the last 5 games are impressive for any player, let alone a rookie.

20.4/3.2 shooting 52%/38.5%/76% in 31.4mpg

Waiters is on a tear. It's going to be a close race for rookie of the month between him and Beal. MKG where you at bro? Fell off the map

As much as posters scoffed at Cleveland selecting Thompson and then Waiters with the 4th pick, I now wonder who the organization has their eyes on for the upcoming draft.

If your being fair you cant judge Lamb one way or the other. Bottom line is he hasnt gotten the chance to prove himself like the others. Doesnt mean he isnt as good, just means he is not in an ideal situation like the other 2 are.

I didn't say he was more dominate because of his D-League play, I was talking about his skills he possess, and yes IMO he is more NBA Ready than both those guards

Lamb is basically a high schooler compared to Beal and Waiters, even Reggie Jackson is more nba ready than Lamb

I still laugh every time I read comments from people at the draft board saying that Beal was going to be a bust and that Lamb was the best sg from this draft

Nothing says NBA ready like, 4.4 mpg and being sent to the developmental league.
