Yeah last year's 18 team RGM league was pretty fun, though there were a few inactives and no playoffs for some reason.

That's why I went roto over HtH.

@CanuckPete - Apologies dude. I'm not trying to take wind out of your sails, I just really don't dig the ESPN interface at all.

I get where you're coming from but in my experience more people seem to tune out in roto than in H2H+playoffs. With roto, if you're not near the top by the break you basically know you're out of it and people stop paying attention. With H2H you usually have more than half the league still fighting for playoff spots late into the season and the bottoms playing spoiler (which you can't really do in roto). Plus, H2H is just more exciting in general :).

You've obviously not played in really competitive roto leagues. Comebacks can start a lot later than you think. Beyond that it also completely removes any negative impact from inactive teams, which can impact a HtH league well before the playoffs. I think it makes a lot more sense than HtH for the forum. IMO obviously.

I'll join, if only to provide a benchmark for a truly terrible Fantasy Baseball performance. If you finish below me, you must be closely related to plankton, because no sentient being could fail to beat me.

Fenris, can you increase league size to 20 as you mentioned in original post. The default setting is at 12 teams right now

It currently says the league's full for me. I'm guessing it says that for everyone else that tries to join?

to be honest, I would prefer H2H. Worked quite well last season.

I've played in many leagues roto and H2H, only time I found it competitive in roto is my keeper league where we have active managers been playing over 7 years together.

could this be up for voting?
