Why does everybody think Duhon is that easy to get rid of? Look at his salary then you'll realize we have to keep Duhon until his contract is up....

duhon's contract is only guaranteed for 1.5mil next yr, he is 100% getting waived in the off-season.

anyway, roster spot is open, so no need to waive anyone yet.

I doubt Caspri joins the Lakers. He has struggled when the team is playing at a slower pace. IE: the switch from the Kings faster pace to the Cavs slower pace, which isn't even as bad as the Lakers slow pace. I honestly see him signing with a team like the Rockets.

lakers slow pace? lakers play at the 3rd fastest pace in the league.

We can also use him as trade bait.

Can't call it struggling if you barely see the floor.

He was in the dog house.

adding a young wing could help us speed up. I say do it. I don't know the ins and outs of the waiver/buyout process though. Don't we have to get in line?

Lets dump someone so we can get Casspi! The guys seems like a Spurs or Mavs pick up! We need to get him before he ends up with either! :-?

i do like casspi...

but adding onto the duhon waiving.

lakers might really decide to amnesty MWP or blake next season if they can't swing a home-run trade with gasol/MWP/blake/hill/duhon's expirings

Well they're the slowest looking face paced team in the league

I wouldn't mind us signing him at all I just don't see him joining the Lakers, especially since Lakers don't want to add anymore payroll. It wouldn't be a bad move IMO but doubt it happens.

What I'd really want are players who excel in transition defense, someone who can get a chase down block or two for us or someone who can just strait out stop a fast break.

That's the spot opened up by Hill's exception, correct? Does anyone know what happens to that exception if Hill comes back?

Kobe. Or they should tell him they're about to so he can put up a 60 point game.

Got to build chemistry, so no need to make any changes now. Plus as others have said. There is a roster space open. Pau might be back before or at playoffs, so that will help.

Bell has long been linked to the Los Angeles Lakers, but the team reportedly doesn't want to add any more payroll.

- See more at: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/22 ... acphh.dpuf

Personally, I'm not interested in Bell. I posted that more with the thought of adding Casspi
Take it for what it's worth. Addition to the bench could help, but I think we'll be fine if we roll with what we have.

thin at wing and back up C spots. interesting which one they will prioritize.

I'm guessing C.
