Jonathan Feigen ‏@Jonathan_Feigen
At last, the Hou-Sac deal is official. If the Rockets were playing a double-header, Robinson, Garcia could play. Honeycutt sent to RGV.

Wiretap says were close to the deal with ohlbrect

Lin/captain
Harden/Garcia/Anderson
Parsons/delfino/Honeycutt
Motie/jones/Robinson/white
Asik/smith/ohlbrect

That will be our 15. Who's in the d-league? White and Honeycutt for sure then I guess ohlbrect? Or one of Robinson or jones since our only centers are Asik and smith?

I just saw that Honeycutt only weighs 187 lbs! :o For a 6'8" player? That's only 8 lbs more than Beverley.

At one point during the discussion, Bayless said that a source inside the Sixers organization told him that the most recent MRI on Andrew Bynum’s knees showed degeneration, meaning in effect that they will never return to full strength. Bynum was also a no-show in the locker room prior to Tuesday's game, when he was scheduled to give an update on his condition. Bayless continued by explaining that Andrew may show some flashes of the dominance he displayed last season, when he averaged 18.7 points and 11.8 rebounds per game for the Lakers, but he will be unable to sustain it, as the knees will never be able to fully recover. We are being mentioned as one of the teams most likely to sign Omri Casspi following his buyout with the Cavs.

I'm thinking a possible Delfino replacement for next year?

if we miraculously get howard this summer, i wouldn't mind finding a way to trade asik, young draftees to get horford if possible.

Horford would be a great fit by Howard. Would the two fit salarywise?

I'm imagining this now... scary:

PG: Beverly/Lin
SG: Harden/Delfino
SF: Parsons/Delfino
PF: Horford/Motie/Jones/Smith
C: Howard/Smith

If that's not a championship roster, it's sure close...
Though, I'm not actually convinced that i don't prefer Asik there to Howard... Is Howie still worth the extra 9m after the last 2 years? Mmm...
Funny how that works. 3 years ago he'd have been a bigger acquisition than either TMac or Drexler. Orlando just seems to have a habit of completely ruining people.

I still hate Howard. He will have injury issues the rest of his career. He's on the decline.

Asik is rebounding at a higher rate (13.9 reb/36min) than Howard has ever rebounded in a year. I'll take Asik over Howard.

Realistically we can not field a better team than that. Howard/Horford is easily the best frontcourt in basketball right now. But how do you propose we get Howard on top of Horford? Sign and trading Asik? I think Horford has quite a bit more value than that.

If we had to chose between the two I would take horford over Howard

We won't have a chance to get him though. No way hawks trade him

Props to moofs for putting the captain ahead of lin, though

After a buyout with the Sacramento Kings, guard Aaron Brooks and the Houston Rockets are discussing a deal, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Don't know how the minutes will be dispensed
