Well we have played the spurs really well even before our current chemistry and Dwight is getting in better shape by the game. That and the fact that likely on the second to last game Pop tends to rest guys, they should be sitting in a good position. I think we will win that game easy if we need it.

It's going to be close I think. i'd laugh if all 4 teams ended up tied.

Any Jazz Rocket or Laker fan, predicting 10+ wins in March is slightly over-estimating, when your predicting based off season so far.

Any of these teams would be lucky to get 10+ wins the rest the season!

Jazz are this close to their longest losing streak of season, so I am definitely concerned.
Theoretically Lakers are very likely to make it, I mean HOU or UTA just need 2 bad losses, and LAL 2 good wins, and were all tied up! Lakers also had the better February which is why UTA and HOU are at risk!

Jazz: 42-40 Likeliness: Very Likely
Oct 1 win
Nov 8 wins
Dec 6 wins
Jan 10 wins
Feb 6 wins
-------------
Mar/Apr 11 wins

Lakers: 42-40 Likeliness: Very Likely
Oct 0 wins
Nov 8 wins
Dec 7 wins
Jan 5 wins
Feb 9 wins
--------------
Mar/Apr 13 wins

Rockets: 42-40 Likeliness: Very Likely
Oct 1 win
Nov 6 wins
Dec 10 wins
Jan 8 wins
Feb 6 wins
---------------
Mar/Apr 11 wins

DAL Need 17 wins to be 42-40(I count 16 potential wins) Likeliness: Pretty Likely
POR Need 16 wins to be 42-40(I count 12 potential wins) Likeliness: Not Likely

I think Golden State needs to be more worried. They're playing pretty horrible basketball lately.

if they fall out of the top 8 seeds, that would be just sweet. and just.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

The other thing is that the Lakers face the Spurs essentially at the end of the season. Pop is going to rest his best players for sure. Might be a gimme for LA.

Karma has got to come into play. We've been screwed twice in recent years on coin tosses after teams have tanked (even though we still snagged a 3rd pick one of those years, i think). The Warriors really are struggling, though, and this is in spite of Curry playing like an absolute madman. Even his monster games haven't been enough lately.

Los Angeles, Utah, and a couple Eastern teams have a legitimate shot at catching up to the Warriors. A late lottery pick would be heavenly...lots more trade value and a better shot at getting one of these PG's.

Just because the Spurs rest their best players doesn't mean they're not a dangerous team. I think we've learned that by now.

I started saying this ever since I heard Kobes' words.

GSW face Lakers 2 more times, meaning if Lakers already won these games, they would be in a worst situation than us.

Honestly if you find my bold prediction for the year I actually think I nailed it, Utah has only had a 3 game losing streak 3 times. GSW and HOU are still fully capable of another 5+ game losing streaks which would kill them at this point!

Bold Prediction:
1-SAS vs 8-HOU/LAL Tie(LAL wins TieBreaker)
2-LAC vs 7-GSW
3-OKC vs 6-UTAH
4-Den vs 5-Mem(Den gets homecourt advantage)

My Quote Pre-March:
"Considering we only won 1 road game in February, and only 7 since December.

Here is my Prediction:

What I Really Think: 4-12
Most Likely Record: 7-9"

I have to admit I knew this was coming and knew we wouldn't keep up to our averages this month, so I wasn't that surprised to lose so much. We only have 3 easy games coming up(all home: Pistons, 76er's, and Suns) so I see 4 wins as potential minimum, and we do have chances that we get a few of the tough ones at home and maybe road. I honestly expected us to win at least 1 road game, but thought Cavs game was a potential! POR and DAL might not be playoff teams, but there gonna look at us as targets to catch up, especially POR who is only 2gb. So that @POR might end up being a loss.

My guess at this point if we were to win 7 times(3 more than I previously said) in March, I would put my money on(but remember I still think were only winning 4 games in March):
1-vsKnicks
2-vsNets
3-@Dallas

Based off my original pre-march prediction:
7 Home:
Bobcats (W)
Pistons (W)
Grizzles (L)
Knicks (L)
76ers (L)*
Suns (W)
Nets (L)
------------^We won 76er's and Grizzles, I predicted that 76er's was a likely win, but I also should have said one top team between knicks, nets, and grizzles that one would lose in ESA....

9 Road:
@Bucks (L)
@Cavs (L)
@Bulls (L)
@Knicks (L)
@Thunder (L)
@Rockets (L)
@Spurs (L)
@Mavs (L)
------------------^So far all correct, Blazers was the only road game I predicted to be winnable...
@Blazers (W)

****So far we are at my predicted 4 Wins...but....they would have to lose the next three for me to be 100% right, but remember I said their best potential record was 7 wins in March. SO once again us Jazz fans got this on lock, cause they could win the next three and do exactly what I thought...

4 Wins:
Bobcats (W)
@Bucks (L)
@Cavs (L)
@Bulls (L)
@Knicks (L)
vsPistons (W)
@Thunder (L)
vsMemphis (W)
vsKnicks (L)
@Rockets (L)
@Spurs (L)
@Dallas (L)
vs76er's (W)

Jazz indeed go 7-9 in March, 6-1 at home and 1-8 on the road. I wonder if Haralabos has any job openings.
