NBA Finals: Denver vs. Miami. Who wins?

Hypothetically speaking, if it were to happen....Miami has homecourt. David Stern / league office / refs decides the officiating will be fair and equal as humanely possible

Dwyane Wade is 0-8 in Denver for his career. So technically...technically...all Denver would have to do is win one of the four in Miami and they'd win. That's how it works, right?

Lebron is 3-6, Bosh is 2-7.

Miami in 5, Denver just doesn't have that go-to-guy in to close games and all of our meetings this season were very close games and Miami always managed to close it out in the clutch...

I voted Miami in six, but now I'm thinking seven games. Denver is not dropping a game at home.

With the 2-3-2 format, Miami could win the first two home games and Denver winning 2 of the 3 homes at least.....then it would come down to game 6 and 7 in Miami....at that point anything could happen

All as in both of them. The first one in Miami, on a b2b, Iguodala hit a go ahead shot with 14 seconds left before Ray drained a three with a couple seconds left. The second one Cole hit a three with a minute left to give the Heat a four point lead before Denver got jobbed by the refs with a no call on four consecutive shot attempts in the lane with 30 seconds left. But regardless, it's not like Denver can't score in the clutch, as proven by the game last night and many others this season. Gallo and Lawson have both shown to be very clutch performers. And on the season, Denver is 6-5 in games decided by 3 or less...Miami is 4-3. Not much of a difference.

Overall, since Lebron and Bosh got to Miami, the Heat are just 3-2 against the Nuggets. I feel like Denver is actually one of the teams that matchup pretty well with Miami, given their athletes and perimeter defenders. Plus, the Nuggets have a huge advantage upfront and on the glass. Faried is averaging 19 ppg and 16 rpg against the Heat, and McGee 17 ppg and 8 rpg (in 22 mpg).

Not to say Denver would win, because they most likely wouldn't...but it'd definitely be a helluva lot closer than people think.

Miami in 5, they have the offensive fire power to out blaze the potent offensive Nuggets. As well as the defensive intensity to slow them down. Personally I think any team that likes to quicken the pace works in the favor of the Heat. Ala the Thunder who have the best offense statstically but turn the ball over too much.

Absolutely. Iggy can slow Lebron down better than any other player in the game right now. Chandler and Gallinari are both good defenders, so they fair better than average. If Lawson goes off, Miami has no answer. If the bigs go off (which they always do against the heat front court) the heat have no answer. The only option they have is let the big three play great, which is impeded by Iggy's 1st team level defense.

Also, that would be the most fun series to watch in the history of basketball IMO. there are objective measures that would point to that being the most fun series as well, not just my opinion.

Without HCA, Nuggets don't really stand a chance at an upset. If they did have it, though...

As good as iggy is he is no match for lebron defensively.Lebron is faster quicker stronger. In his career he played 27 games against iggy and he averaged 29ppg on .51% fg
