What does Brandon Knight do well?

I looked up all of Knights games this year where he took more than 17 shots, and he took between 17-21 FGAs nine times this year, with 21 being the most and occuring just once (most of the nine were 17 or 18 attempts). In those 9 games he avg 24 pts on 48% FG.

He just needs to shoot more I think

I think he just needs the freedom to let his game come to him instead of being forced to try to be something hes not. I also think that being able to step away from it all for those few games he was injured might have helped slow things down a little bit for him.

Sad thing is a few of you will ride the Knight train for a couple more games until he has a bad game and then you'll all hop off and want to trade him for peanuts again. Atleast Scout Taron is consistent.

lol, if only Knight were consistent too, itd be easier to be consistent in our opinion of him.

The only player Dumars gave up too soon was Afflalo, Knight is just a sopho and will get every chance to succeed here. And its not like the Pistons are blessed with a lot of good or great guards. He is a good defender, good 3 point shooter, he has to improve efficiency in scoring and cut his TOs. Thats all to establish himself as an NBA starter, i think he can do that. But at this stage in his career it is ok to question whether he can be a good NBA starter especially at PG. Its a joy to watch Calderon run the offense, BK will never be able to do that - you have to find the right backcourt partners for him to blossom.
