Jenks is a bit of a worry. He hasn't played much since the start of the year. He had a rough game against Sunderland. i think he was just a bit too amped up to be back playing, and the game was very chippy, and he just got a bit carried away got a couple yellows and was off. He was good last week, though. Hopefully he can come through, it would be nice to have a prime Sagna in there though. It was his header that kicked off the rout in last years 5-2.

If Kroenke is in it to make money that is a massive profit in a very short amount of time. On the other hand he seems like a real douche. I dunno, can't imagine us as a Middle-East owned team, but if the offer is true he has to accept it really.

Being bought by Arab investors would be the best thing to happen to Arsenal. They would be able to compete with the big spenders and field a team with world class players once again.

Hahah that would be awesome. Arsenal fans and their manager would turn into the world's leading hypocrites overnight. Hope it happens. I'm sure Wenger would tender his resignation immediately out of principle. :D

Kroenke's already denied the reports, but I wonder if the club would have gone from being the strongest advocate of the FFP to being the weakest

He stands to make a big profit of almost double his money (I believe he bought it for a little more than 430M and he stands to make around 800M of the 1.5B). I'd kind of like to see what Wenger would do with access to those kinds of funds.

IDK, I think he gave a pretty basic answer to the 'what would you do if you were suddenly given a really really ridiculously large amount of money to work with?' question that always pops up.

ahh still so bugged by the game's result , we're going to have to be flawless these next ten games man and hope for chelsea or tottenham to just fall apart which I find so hard to see. I cant see chelsea with all these experienced guys blowing it and I cant see spurs blowing a massive lead on us again.

I cant believe we didnt sign vertonghen because we couldnt guarantee him a starting spot over the mighty vermaelen and per mertesaker. Vertonghen is a great player and was a rock at the back for tottenham today.

Probably the first time in years that i've ever contemplated that Arsenal won't make the top 4, unless the Spurs take a massive dip at the end of the season I just don't see them finishing top 4. No way Chelsea are getting 5th either.

I dunno, there are still 30 points to play for, we could certainly still make it. If not it's Fallopian Tube Krakow in the Europa League.

Walcott hasn't scored now for six games, he better find some form for the run in or we're screwed. Kos should be in for Vermaelan, he doesn't know what he's doing back there anymore.

we have no wiggle room now , our last 10 games have to be flawless and the next 6 are all winnable games , we're going to need walcott , wilshere , cazorla to hit some incredible form to end the season.

One slightly good thing to come out of missing the CL would be the club's evaluation might drop and become more attractive for a prospective buyer to buy and then invest heavily in the squad. But still that's grasping onto straws since Kroenke will not sell when there's a new EPL TV contract to be negotiated within 2 years, which might just be the biggest in pro sports.

I dont see kroenke selling if the evaluation drops , but yeah it doesn't look like he'll sell now , hoping he does though.

David Ornstein from BBC said today on the radio that AW stopped the defensive drills earlier in the season because of all the attention bould was getting and all we do now is possession work.

Didn't believe it when others claimed it before but ornstein is a pretty reliable guy , and if true wenger just continues to be a stubborn man refusing to work on defence that has been one of the main reasons for our failures in the last 8 years. I find it hard to believe the jealously aspect of the report however.

EDIT: oh and bendtner is just destroying his career , arrested for drunk driving in denmark , banned from the national team for 6 months and will have his juventus contract terminated. Just terrible

Just read the Bendtner story, there is absolutely no excuse for drinking and driving. Bendtner's BAC was 0.15% and you get jail time in Denmark if it's 0.20%+ for the first offense from what I read, so he's very lucky.

Bentdner is an idiot. I remember the story from a few years ago where he crashed his sports car, and when the police pulled up he was in his underwear examining himself for injuries with a side mirror. Disappointing this loan hasn't worked out at all, his value is zero.
