I am still hoping that Dumars can swing a deal for Wilson Chandler in the off-season. The guy is still under a nice contract for a couple more years and fills the need at SF. The guy can run, defend, rebound and score consistently.

Wilson Chandler on this team would be ideal. however denver is known for asking aaaaa lot for their players. and i think we are at a point where we need to retain valuable assets. Though denver is over the cap, they'll let the iggy situation play out and make any trade next season.

i also think going forward Joe D thinks middleton or Singler is the answer at the 3. If you look at the FA class and SF's available. There aren't any Franchise SF's. Iggy is as close as your going to get. i think we go into next season with those, and adjust

Also i understand this is a bit of a knee jerk. but knight having 3 straight games of phenomenal play has made me believe he's still the answer at pg or sg. While the offensive end has been impressive its the defensive end that made me believe. he held EG to 5 points in the second half

I only way I want Iggy a Piston is if we can sign him to a reasonable deal something like 3yr/30million or less.

I'd love to have Iggy 5 years ago. Now? Not so much.

yeah, he was really nothing special even in his prime, imo. But especially not now for what he will be asking for.

Dont get me wrong, he was a great all around player, but he was never a good shooter and relied too much on athleticism. Now that he's getting older, once that atheticism to starts to wane, I'm not sure how effective he's going to be two, three years from now.
