Could have sworn I've heard read that Love was unhappy with the contract....it seems as through there is tension with the Wolves management.....my bad on the numbers I guess...but I still think there's an issue there.

OK....Love feels disrespected by Wolves management because they said that he doesn't deserve a Max contract because he hasn't lead the team to the playoffs....they said they are saving that money for Rubio....so Love can opt out of his contract after next year.

If the Wolves don't commit to him fully and if they don't start winning, then he will opt out.

Could Lee and Klay be enough to get a deal done?

But Love doesn't play much better defense than Lee. He's Lee with more range. Love is an upgrade over DL but not by as much as people think.

I would go balls to wall for Horford.

I love Horford..he would be absolutely the guy I'd want.....but very doubtful that Atlanta deals him.

To me Love a wayyyy better than Lee.....way better rebounder....way better shooter....and slightly better defender....which is crucial....he's a star.....his spacing allows for the other bigs to work down low if need be.

I definitely wouldn't be pissed if we got Love as he's an upgrade over Lee but it doesn't change the fact that we would still need a defensive center to compliment our our poor defending pf. Is that Bogut? Maybe but I don't think we can count on him.

We need to figure out the big man first I'd say, at this point I don't see any on the market. I suppose if Smith left and ATL was unable to sign anyone of relevance maybe Horford could be available but even then it would be best for them to just hold on to him and wait for 2014.

If the FO rules out LeBron joining the Warriors, I would make these trades:

Bogut + Green for Okafor + Seraphin
Lee for Love
Klay + Biedrins for Gordon + Aminu + Smith

Curry/Jack
Gordon/Rush/Bazemore
Barnes/Aminu/Rush
Love/Seraphin
Okafor/Smith/Ezeli

I don't know how the salaries work out, but I'd love to have a Jimmy Butler on this team. Dude is so tough and solid all around.

One's gotta think that maybe the Bulls would bite on a Klay offer since they've been looking for a SG for ages. We might also be able to get something additional back. But again, here I'll claim ignorance.

Butler doesn't come with the pedigree or the name, but the guy can play. Anyone who comes from Marquette can play. Well, maybe outside of Diener.

Chicago loves Butler and he'll be the main reason Deng goes.

Lee for Love straight up won't cut it.....but Lee and Klay might be enough for Minny.

I think Andris Festus and Bogut are plenty defensive enough next to Love.

If we could somehow grab Milsap in free agency or sign and trade then I'd Geo hard after him....perfect smallball team with him and Love together.

I think horford would Be the best fit currently
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

I don't want Love, unless we can have a healthy Bogut type center playing next to him. He is not a rim defender and has as many defensive flaws as Lee. I would rather have a cheaper Millsap.

I'm with you on your take of Love. He is an upgrade over Lee, but I don't think at the expense. There are better options that are cheaper.

this ^

I rather have a physical defender, rim protector and rebounder at PF. I don't know if Millsap is that guy, but its far more important than getting 20 ppg from our 4.

Long term I want a Dale Davis, Otis Thorpe type player, not some soft chump like Avy Lee.

Klay and Biedrins in a sign and trade for Milsap.

Klay gives them the long range 2 they need. We fill the gap with Rush and Jack. Maybe bazemore eats up some minutes next year. Barnes could even spend some time at 2 if need be.

Biedrins gives them an expiring backup center...because they will probably lose Jefferson this summer. The kids are ready to take over (Kanter/ Favors) so Biedrins gives them a backup for one year.

We can replace Landry with a better Milsap. The money we'd have needed for Landry can now go to resigning Jack. Maybe a 2-3 year deal for Milsap who could start if need be, but is a guy who plays tough and smart.

You would give up Klay, whom was the center of deals around Gordon and Harden for Millsap? who would be our 6/7th man? I wouldn't pay that much for possibly a 6/7th man whose not really noted for his defense, though its better than landry and lee's. If we're giving up Klay we need one of Kanter or Favors not millsap.

Yes I would absolutely trade Klay for Milsap who is twice as good a player......then down the road I would try and move Lee.

Utah is setting things up for Kanter and Favors

You overvalue Klay.....and those supposed Harden deals are curious at best.....and Gordon has a bad knee....Milsap over Gordon for me.
