Ersan for Batum

Post#1 » by smooveroots » Mon Mar 4, 2013 5:35 pm

Yahoo H2H, 9Cat 12 team league... At this stage of the season our trade deadline is next week Mar14...

I was thinking of trading Batum since he hurt his wrist again on Sat.. He has four games this week and If he get's hot for even one game I want to send out the following trade offer:

A)Batum/Lee for Ersan/Wade

B)Batum/Lee for West/Pierce

I am looking for more scoring, I have enough rebounding plus Lee playoff schedule is horrible>>>

What are your thoughts on both trades?

My roster is in the signature section...

Lee as in Courtney, do it. And get rejected.

Lee as in David, stand pat. Batum has been filling it up with multiple steal and blocks games.

I really like Batum/Lee for Ersan/Wade.

Batum's wrist is sketchy he keeps hurting it and playing with it hurt cause portland is fighting for playoff positioning. Bucks are fighting hard for playoff spot in the east so Ersan is going to continue to play hard and get big run. I have Ersan on my team and i love him, the only minus to him is he hardly ever gets assists.

I like the other trade also actually, just noticed it.

I have West on my team and as I'm sure you know lately he has been top 15 value (in my league he has was 8th in february, but my league counts fouls and 3pt% instead of made so its a bit different but shouldn't make much difference). I don't really like Pierce but thats cause I am diehard Lakers fan haha. West > Pierce and Batum (last 2 months anyways), but Batum and Lee > Piece, so it is kind of a tossup but given Batum's injury and constant risk of reinjury i would probably favor the West side.

I'd hold Batum. 5 games in the first round is pretty enticing.

Lee I would try to move. Lee for West is fine with me to get the extra games.

I will hold Batum, every time I am willing to trade him he goes off and remind me why I have turned so many offers for him..

As for Lee, love his game but I will need extra games for the playoffs... I like the way West is playing right now, it seems a lot you guys dont like a Lee for Wade deal why?

Dude, if you can get Wade for Lee (and can handle the loss in rebounds), do it in a heartbeat. Wade is killing it right now and it is D Wade god damnit! he is a beast.

Thanks for the feedback guys!!! It would make way more sense to go with West than Wade because I would lose on rebounds since Lee is giving me 10 + rebounds a game plus assists.. West would be the ideal guy to fit the bill without losing too much on rebounds and scoring...

Ya if you can get West for Lee do it of course. But if you can only get wade for lee do it as well, and then flip wade for a better big than lee. wade value real high right now after 3 30 point games with sick percentages. could prolly get a top 5 big like marc gasol or aldridge or something like that
