So, what did we think about Jeremy Tyler last night?

Ah, so 14 games > 28 games now? If you are unawares, the season started in late October, not January. He got big minutes because of blowouts too now? So when he coincidentally started all those games, LD just knew they were going to be blowouts beforehand? And let's also prop up the 3point shooting in January while we are at it, seeing as he took all of 12 attempts all month, his second least in any full month this season. That should perfectly wipe out the 27 he attempted in Feb alone. In fact, once you include this game too, he's attempted 30 3s in January and March combined. Yea, I see how that is a bigger sample indicative of his consistency than the combined 26 attempts in Nov & Dec to go along with the 27 in Feb.

Let's also talk about it's good that he's gotten at least a consistent 10 minutes a game over multiple months to finally suck his way to a good stretch while railing on a guy who hasn't had that opportunity. While Tolliver is getting "rewarded", Petro, who hasn't been statistically nearly as bad or inconsistent, hasn't seen an increase and oh yea, did I mention that Ivan has "coincidentally" seen his minutes and games decrease while we showcase the Bald Bomber? I'm sure you've also "seen" how Tolliver has earned time over Ivan too.

Also remember about Keith Benson. I think Benson is ten times better than Petro, but i think it was just a money thing.

Remember, just because a guy is cut, they can still re-join the team for next season.

If Ferry can get some big time free agents this summer, i think Ferry will look at Benson and Tyler as cheap bench options.

Ivan Johnsons playing time is a complete enigma to me. I don't get it, never will. But lets not move the goalpost here.

You argument is that Tolliver shouldn't get playing time lately because of how he played in OCTOBER. you do realize its March....right? Tolliver has played better, he got more minutes.

Petro has been very consistent. Consistently awful all year. Again you want to pretend all those things I mentioned don't matter in basketball because there is no stat you can pour over, then fine. But its funny that Larry drew, the announcers watching the game, the teammates all agree about the energy that Tolliver brings when on the court. Its honestly mystifying that you watch the game yet somehow miss it. In the post game wrap up the quote was "It was nice to see Anthony have a nice game offensively. Generally his impact is on the defensive side but he was great tonight". But I know....he doesn't average many blocks or steals or some other silly stat so he is bad defensively.

Uhm no, I proved that he sucked throughout February, you know, just last month. The month that was not even 7 days ago yet he still saw his minutes increase. You attempted to say, "oh, but he played well in January"........entirely skipping a whole month......in addition to the other two that he sucked in. But oh, tell me how they fluffed him in a postgame presser after a good game and how your eyes are so much superior to facts. I pay a good amount of money to watch EVERY game, be it on my phone, my computer, on TV or even in person. I've seen that he sucks, the stats confirms that he sucks, I don't have to rely on steals/blocks because stats have amazingly evolved WELL beyond that to prove defense too but, hey rah rah rah energy!

I think Ferry traded for Tyler just to mess with my mind. He knows how I want a big man and how I love big prospects. He said to Drew, "Watch this. I'm gonna screw with that ol' parson. We'll get Tyler for a 2nd with so much protection (top-55 protected) on it that we never have to pay it out. Then, we'll talk about his future. Then, YOU'LL play him in a real game. THEN, we'll dump him for a PG. That parson'll scream."

"Meanwhile, to mess with Rip and Mace, use Tolliver well in Jan but misuse him in Feb...."

Hey Parson, don't forget he dumped Jordan Williams at the beginning of the season too.

^ Are you kidding? Some guy 6' 9" with a wingspan of 7' 0.25" and a standing reach of 8' 10.5"? My heart doesn't go pitty-pat until he has a reach of over 9'2".

Actually, my dream is a 7ft. Josh Smith. I bet that's Smith's dream, too.

He produces more times than not when he plays. He gets to the free throw line, plays solid D, rebounds well, is a bit of a sloppy passer but generally forces a turnover or two. He is a GREAT garbage man that can give you some spratic offense.

I could see that happening, I can just imagine that conversation between Ferry and Drew behind closed doors. :D
