The X-ray was negative on Gortat's right foot injury. He will undergo a MRI on Thursday. #SunsVsRaptors

good

good for getting value in an offseason trade and I hate seeing anyone injured, but TERRIBLE for the draft pick. Can they at least pretend he is injured for a few weeks so we can back in top 3 range? lol

Just because the X-rays were negative doesnt mean that something isnt wrong or he wont be missing any games.

I heard something like this popped - said Gortat after the match.
As far as this point the Suns described his injury as "midfoot sprain".
It's not broken or cracked but there is a risk of tendonitis. he addded.

He also said he will miss few days possibly weeks.

So he is for sure out for at least few coming games, they won't risk I guess.

I'm sure you'll be happy to know ESPN is reporting Gortat is likely out for the season. So sad when you say the team you claim to love should lose.

Never said I was happy that he got injured. I just wanted them to pretend he was injured so he could miss games like other smart tanking teams do. And again, you just look at the present, you only have like one year to live or something lol? Obviously a top 3 pick is better for the future than the 10th pick. But again be ignorant, it's cool. I am done replying to you. Just a waste of time

It's not obvious because there are dozens and dozens of examples where top 3 picks have flopped and 10th round or worse picks have turned into all-star and on occasions superstars. Honestly because this years draft is so weak I could see a team with one of the top picks wanting to trade down so they don't overpay a rookie 3-4 million and waste their cap space.
