Canadiens get the best of the Canes 4 - 2. Tied at 2 - 2 after 2, the Canadiens get the best of Peters in the 3rd.

Wasted opportunity. Canes up 2 - 0 on WAshington, and give up 3 goals to lose 3 - 2. Last one ws with 2:31 left. With a win, WPG can cut Canes lead to 1 pt.

Canes pick up forward Adam Hall, just released by Tampa Bay. Has 4 assists in 20 games this season. May see the ice tonight vs his old team.

Canes fall in SO to the Rangers. But the point earned gives them back the Division lead as they are tied with WPG at 32 pts.

Devils come to Raleigh and whip the Canes 4-1. At least WPG is losing also so they wont likely extend their point lead over the Canes.

Alexander Semin has been solid for the Canes. And he seems to like it in Raleigh. They just extended him 5 years at $7 mil/yr.

Canes had a chance to cut into the Jets division lead and failed at home. Lead now 6 pts instead of only 2. Jets taking control of the division right now.

Canes trying to strengthen chances at Playoffs. They send a 7th and Adam Hall whom they claimed off waivers from Tampa Bay back to Tampa in return for Marc Andre Bergeron. Good deal for Carolina

Canes lose their 5th straight at home, blowing a 2-0 lead to the Capitals and lose 5-3. AGain, failing to take advantage of WPG losing. Not playing like a playoff team AT ALL!!! Even tho they lost Cam Ward for a while, this team is better than they are playing.

Canes trade Jussi Jokinen to the Penguins for a conditional pick. This cannot make Canes fans happy at all. Jussi is a big part of this team. Very sad day for the Canes and their fans.

Cane's collapse continues with a 5-0 loss at home to TB. Thank goodness WPG lost again also, but TB now moves into a tie with Canes. Very disappointing season after a promising start.

More games, more losses. This season has gotten away from the Canes and the FO is very unhappy.
