Does this hurt or help his value going into the offseason? I want to say it hurts it, but since his play is often up and down, perhaps it could help. Teams will keep in mind that he got hurt, but look more towards what he's done in the past when evaluating him.

I really don't see how this changes anything regarding our record as long as Oneal doesn't miss much more time. He has been underwhelming.

It should hurt a bit, unless JO can play all 48 minutes. :D I doubt Haddadi can produce what JO has off the bench. Although we will probably see that Beasley, Morris, Scola front court often.

I just hope we don't get short changed if we decide to move Gortat. I really hope we keep JO, and it isn't for $6 million for a season, because of what he did this season. That would create a bad cap hold the next year, if he decides to not play the following year. Cap holds are tough to figure out. We had cap holds for Piat a year or two after he quit playing.

Oh well, I hope for a speedy recovery for Gortat, but I hope he doesn't play with his national team during the summer. Whether we trade him or if he stays, I would rather a healthy player for either choice.

You can't be serious. Going from Gortat+JO to JO+nothing is a huge downgrade.

Far out. I hope his ankle makes a full recovery. At least we have O'Neal to step into the center spot.

O'Neal is better than Gortat. Gortat has been my most disappointed player of the year, right before Dudley.

Now it's confirmed. On his facebook he wrote:
A gypsum(cast) on the leg for 3 weeks. Torn tendon in the midfoot. Then another few days of rehabilitation.
This is the end of the season for me. I will miss 21 games..

My reason to watch the Suns till the end of season is gone now. :-? Whole year is like downhill for the Suns let's see how bad this team will be now. Just to remember 71 pts last night..

8-) My bad! Sorry Frank! No really though, I actually do feel bad for him getting injured, irregardless of the impact it might or might not have on our draft position.

You never want to see a player get hurt or injured if at all avoidable. I remember when I was playing back in the day and stupidly played through a severely sprained ankle, And then was out for twice as long. It really sucks to see your teammates playing hard, or struggling and all you can do as a player is sit there and watch it happen. :( Here's tp hoping he gets better and back on the court soon.

They're trying to shoot the tank but Gortat dived in front of the missile. His sacrifice shall never be forgotten.

Gortat's sacrifice gives the Suns the strongest tank in the league.

I was wondering when Tyler was going to come up, when I saw his name on waivers from ATL.

So any news on Selby?
