I would take a role player and bad contract for him if the bad contract had less years than Lee's

Definetely do Lee for Humphries and Brooks. Then sign Bosh in FA to replace Lee. Bosh would be a great fit here.

I see NO reason why anyone trades Lee for Hump and I DOUBT GSW is in the mix for Bosh even if they want to pay BIG $.

I would look at Aldridge or Bosh. I want interior defense. We will have our first round draft pick, (after giving Utah our pick this year) and two large expiring contracts, that we can package with Lee and Klay to go after Bosh. The Heat will be looking to shed some salary and I could see them moving Bosh.

So wait, why would Bosh leave the Heat for a fringe contender?

Aldridge is not leaving Portland anytime soon....and not to come play for us.

Just so you guys know....Milsap is averaging 16 points, 8 rebounds shooting almost 50% with 80% from the line in 30the minutes.

It allows you to actively try and move Lee...because Milsap can start for you if need be....he's a definite upgrade on Landry and right there with Lee.....Klay is replaceable in my eyes and you can't have enough talented bigs.

I'd rather swap Klay for Kanter or Favors

I like Milsap a lot and I would love him in place of Landry, but he is probably going to cost more. I would not be too excited about replacing Lee with Milsap, as I don't think there is enough of an upgrade if there is one.

The Warriors can offer Lee, Klay and their 2014 first round pick and an expiring contract to upgrade the 4 or 5 spot.

IMO however, that the Warriors will try and obtain a wing player that can take the ball to the hole at will.

The Lee hate is through the roof since the populist conference speech. Lee for Brooks/Hump?? Oh come on now.

Can't trade 2014 pick.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Not sure if there's truth to this, but I was told that after the Warriors have conveyed their 2013 pick to Utah (i.e. after the draft itself), then they could trade their 2014 #1 pick. Apparently the "can't trade your pick 2 years in a row" is only applicable for future drafts - once the 2013 draft is behind us, all that matters is what's in front of us.

Again, not sure if this is right, but it bears looking into.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Yeah, that was my understanding as well; that we could trade our 2014 first, once we met our obligation with Utah.

Based on what?

I heard a faint rumor that it was Klay + Barnes + RJ, but that doesnt stand to reason as I think the Rockette's offeer trumped that too as far as long-term savings, a priority for OKC, goes.

Now if we hadn't made the Ezeli/RJ trade, and had Craptain Jack as an expiring, who knows? I think that would trump the Rox offer.

The instant the 2013 draft ends, we absolutely can. I think there's basically a 3 week window left, from June 1st up until draft day.
