Honestly, same here.
I think the one thing that counters it though is Gsp's takedowns might scatter Diaz's boxing up.

GSP is too smart to be picked apart. If it ain't working, it's ground time.

Listen here ****, how the **** can you call me disrespectful? You're pampered, you're not a real martial artist, you're full of bull, you're a bitch, and if I saw you on the street I would slap you and kick your ass. And now you're saying that I deserve to be beat down? And how the **** are you going to call me disrespectful?

 Nick Diaz never makes sense, but he's always interesting.

I'm so ready for this fight. I've been wanting it for awhile.
It's not often you get those 'lines in the sand' fights for fans, where they are divided so strongly on which side they are with.

I think if GSP comes out, and views this fight as a legacy fight, he might put on a dominant showing. Georges wrestling should such be a massive advantage, and he has never fought anyone near the calibre of GSP.

He's got like 1 big name win and it's against Penn, and he couldn't finish him and Penn has beeb 1 w 4 L - 1 D
during this whole episode.

Diaz is gonna get mauled.

I would love to see Rory get a go at him after GSP

It's strange, because I don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm super excited about it. Not only is the build-up great, but I expect it to be a super-exciting fight. I think that you'd have to rank Matt Hughes as a big name win as well.

I don't think Diaz has any hope of stopping takedowns. I do think his nonstop peppering from the bottom will be interesting. Also, with Cesar and Nick being such technicians on the ground, I'd be pretty surprised if they let GSP hit the pass that he hit on Condit literally like 10 times in their fight. If gsp can pass then Diaz has no hope, if Diaz can keep him there then at least he is going to be threatening more stuff.

The boxing match could go either way, I got no idea. GSP's jab will push you back. But I never understand how the Diaz bros do it. That Nate took out Marcus Davis and Rory Markham so easily, I have no idea.

Nate vs Davis... I got no idea how anyone can throw sloppy punches like that and beat a pro boxer with 20+ fights.

With all the emotion both fighters are exhibiting, I'll be disappointed if this fight goes to a decision.

I think it'll be a 5 round war. It's been quite awhile since either guy has been finished.

As good as the standup war will be, I don't think we'll get a better exchange than this...

Georges St-Pierre: "You don't know anything about me. You think I was born rich? I've worked really hard. You have no idea."

Nick Diaz: "You've worked hard on your backflip."

Diaz's wrestling might be bad enough for GSP to get good positioning on him without having to work for it so much on the ground...but who knows.

I fully expect a 5 rounder with GSP winning.

That would be his biggest fight had he.

Dick Niaz is completely correct about GSP, being papmpered by the UFC!

I mean why are they allowing GSP to fight a Fighter that has LOST (2) fights in a row?

I mean common, I know GSP was out with an injury, but how about having GSP fight some ACTUAL top talent, not the top big mouth in the sport.

ALSO: Why is it that the UFC convienetly leaves off the loss to Ben Henderson last December when you look at Dick's record??

He probably got confused and combined both Nick and Nate Diaz together as one fighter.

GSP still holds him down for 5 rounds.

I thought that you were saying that GSP's only big name win was Penn.

I think this is the fight that GSP's decision streak ends. He's just too motivated for this fight for it to go to decision imo.

I suspect it will be a GNP beat down from open guard. GSP may pass some, but I think he'll be content to just rain down pain from open guard. Nick will probably threaten with some sub's but he wont come close to catching him.
