CCJ, check the WireTap up top.

From the Wire tap:

John Wall talked on Friday about where he believes he ranks amongst the NBA's top point guards.

"I put myself somewhere in the top-5, top-10," Wall told RealGM.

Wall missed the first part of the current season with a knee injury, returning on Jan. 12. Wall had a PER of 17.8 last season, but it has dropped to 15.9 so far this season.

Wall is averaging 16.9 points, 8.7 assists and 3.8 rebounds on 41.5 percent shooting per 36 minutes this season.

I just want EG gone, Wittman probably should be let go at seasons end, but he doesn't deserved to be fired over this. He's been dealt an odd hand to play, he **** up at times, but I wouldn't put all of this woe on him.

EG just needs to go away. I really hope we end up losing by 40+ now. Leonsis needs to get embarrassed. Williams going for 70 would help too.

Its Beals.

Beal would be lighting it up right back.

Is Wall guarding Williams ? If so, he just went in the record book as the guy who got torched.

He got torched in more ways than one. Today, John Wall said this:

John Wall talked on Friday about where he believes he ranks amongst the NBA's top point guards.

"I put myself somewhere in the top-5, top-10," Wall told RealGM.

Hold the phones. I just had a great idea for our defense...maybe we should think about guarding Deron Williams.

I'm a huge Wall supporter, but that's a.... really bad answer. Top 5? You on bath salts Johnny Boy? So, Rose, CP3, Westbrook, Rondo, then you? Are you on DEM BATH SALTS????????

Down to 21. If they get this down to 12 this quarter this could be one EPIC choke job for the Nets.

I can't see any way that happens with Williams trying to outscore the Wizards and Evans trying to out rebound the Wiz in the same game, but this game is turning around.

He was probably just grading himself on the Chalmers scale, which would definitely put him in the top 7 or so.

You missed history. D Will with 9 threes in the first half. He had 33 and so did the Wizards at half.

We should've put Ariza on Deron like 20 minutes ago

haha thank goodness I missed that crap and I just read the same interview about Wall...this is exactly why he needs to be traded, because I think EG is gonna overpay him

The Nets have been terrible in the second half, I'd the wizards were half way competent this should be a 10 point game right now.

True.

The most discouraging part should be Reggie Evans dominating Okafor and Nene. He's killing the Wizards in the second half about like D Will did in the first.

Return to Washington Wizards
