We had 3 seconds left to shoot. That was a great opportunity. We just dont have clutch players that could make the shot.

it wasnt that great of an opportunity, I knew it wasnt going in before it even left his hand. Hill should have drawn something up to get the ball in BKs hands at the top of the key.

Thoughts from tonight's game:

1) Collison exposed Calderon -- made him look especially slow on the defensive side. He was able to do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted if JC was on him.

2) Middleton needs to play a lot more the rest of the way -- maybe even over Singler

3) We should be playing English over Stuckey

4) Bynum should not get minutes anymore.

5) JJ made a lot of nice hustle plays early....then Max and CV took all his 2nd half minutes. :-?

Rotation I'd roll with until Drummond is healthy:

Knight / Calderon
English / Stuckey
Middleton / Singler
Jerebko / CV / Max
Monroe / Kravtsov

Middleton needs to play more. No reason why he shouldn't playing 20 mins every game.

Agreed. Not sure why he hasn't played more before. He's clearly got talent. I'd like to see him play at least 25mpg the rest of the season and possibly even start. Singler's role in the NBA will always be a backup, unless he really improves (unlikely), might as well get him used to that role while seeing what Middleton can do.

Dang, I'm mad I missed this game tonight...Looks like Knight, Monroe, Middleton, and Charlie V had a good game...I heard Collison and Mike James tore Calderon a new a#$ hole... :nonono: We gotta get the bums out of our starting line-up...

Hopefully Mayo was show-casing in-front of Dumars...

yeah, BKs got heart, I figured he'd show up to play with all the talk about Dumars wanting Mayo.

Its hard to think of too many "prime" matchups in his young career that Knight didn't excel in, whether at PG or SG. He brings it against the best, and at least holds his own or wins the matchups.

Thats what you want to see out of your best players, because thats what its all about in the playoffs, when you are matched up with the best every round for 4-7 games.

If we had to play DAL in the playoffs, would anyone feel really concerned about the Knight-Mayo matchup at SG after this game?
