I really wish this was actually advertised well and made a big deal of, but alas...

If the US makes it to the finals, it'll be nothing short of a miracle.

Best roster the Canada has ever had.

Wouldve been nice if Martin was there, but he was being a little b*tch.

I wish Trout would have participated.

I don't. I actually kinda wish this competition weren't open to guys on major league rosters, or guys 20+.

Baseball needs something as big as the World Cup. The Dominicans are good enough to warrant a real tournament.

Agreed. This would have been a bigger deal with Trout and Harper.

i am not mexican and my mother's side of the family resides in canada, but i am embarrassed for the canadian team for trying to bunt for a hit on top of the 9th when they were up by 6 runs that caused a brawl. i was taught since little league never to show off like that when you are up by that much, and as i teach my son baseball now, i tell him that such act will cause a brawl. no hard feelings to the mexican team and i apologize for my cousin's country's misbehavior.
ehhhhh f it.

i saw Donnie B say that point differential doesn't matter...u still don't do that.

i disagree.
since point differential matters, Mexico should have been understanding.

sidenoteS:
- The Dominican team is UNREAL!
that team is stacked....i thought Venezuela would put up a fight...X_X
and Hanley looks good...even though I hate that he's not taking SS reps and taking 3B reps when he said he wouldn't.

- The WBC is fun as hell and i hope it gains more traction...you can tell it means everything to certain countries....Mexico and Italy was exciting as hell....DOminican vs. PR? X_X...a sporting event doesn't get more intense

Don't blame Canada, blame the rule that run differential is the first thing that gets looked at in a tiebreaker situation. If grown men get that upset about trying to bunt for a hit in any situation they're a bunch of pansy ass bitches anyways.

This has to be the most misinformed comment ever. You do know that run differential matters, right?

It was shameful on Mexico part. Their third basemen actually told the pitcher to hit him. They wanted to fight, and then they got their asses kicked.
