Bo said Shabazz ability to create his shots wouldn't necessarily mean it would translate to the NBA, what makes you think McLemore would be able to create his own shot if he already cant on a lower level?

I think what he was getting at was the point that NBA defenses are too good for one-dimensional iso guys. He would have to learn how to play off the ball and get shots within a system. McLemore, a year older too, has shown an ability to play off of his teammates. Take a guy like Austin Rivers. It's not that he lacks skill. But, he never learned to play off of his teammates at Duke. So he's struggling early on. Again, this is within the context of a conversation with Bo so I'm paraphrasing.

I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

There isn't this perfect prospect this year. Everybody has holes. So you draft who will prolly be the most productive at the next level. So if McLemore is that guy, you draft him and look for more of a shot creator in the next draft or free agency.

So use a super high pick on McLemore then look for his replacement in the next draft?

No, find a PG or SF (WIGGINS) who can create his own shot. You're trying to make a team. Not a bunch of guys who play one on one all the time.

Monta Ellis May Consider Opting Into $11M Deal With Bucks For Next Season -- http://bit.ly/ZzIKiZ

Will be something to watch. Him opting-in may give some indication as to the lay of the land for fringe all-stars. It may be a sign that he knows he won't get $11M in free agency.

That means the new CBA was a success.

Or maybe it means that he wants to wait until the big free agency class to team up with another big free agent.
Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

I am watching the UCLA and Washington game right now... Just not liking Shabazz's game as of late. Thinking more along the line of Oladipo like some of you have mentioned

Another possibility is he wants to be a free agent in 2014 so he can be someone's consolation prize and get a big contract.

What I mean is, several teams are likely to position themselves to make a run at free agency with cap room. Only some of those teams will score top talent, but the rest may be more desperate to make a splash, and Monta may be their only option once the top tier has been scooped up.

If Monta thinks he can get the same money on the market next year as he can this year he should for sure opt in.

Think about in five years at the end of his contract, is he going to get 11 million dollars when he becomes a free agent again at the age of 32? That's why you take the 11 million now then get the near max 5 year deal next season.

No smart GM would give him Ellis a 5 year deal let alone a max deal
