Hey even if we lose the game and they still miss the playoffs by one game we can say it was from when we beat them THE FIRST TIME!!!!!!

Re: Around The League
Anyone else heard JVG say he's surprised we let Kobias take Dwight's old number instead of retiring it? LMFAO
He also said we should retire Shaq's number.
I'm a Magic fan forever but retiring either of those numbers would be unforgivable to me.
He did just make up for it by saying Howard was basically full of **** for trying to defend his comments.

really? wow.
I don't think we have had anyone that should be retired yet. I can see why they would say Shaq because he led us to the finals, but Dwight took us one step further with a win in the finals. Still neither really achieved greatness while here. Shaq would get it based on what he went on to do which isn't right, and Dwight is yet to have a career worthy of it IMO. Those are the only two that i feel should even be discussed, but who should be retired is always an interesting discussion.

Nice game winner in the paint for Ryno... he probably would have rushed and missed this last season.

Re: Around The League
Portland's GM thanking Ryan for that. Need to keep that draft pick and lose their way into a nice lotto pick.
On another note, sucks to say, but the Lakers will make the playoffs and will not be eliminated in the first round.

Think they will get the 6th seed and will with that series. Dwight has turned a corner physically, and mentally.

If they make the playoffs, they certainly have a better chance to to reach the finals than any other 8th seed team. They have the personnel and playoffs are a different brand of basketball.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.
"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

Re: Around The League
There's a very real possibility of a LA vs. LA 1st round playoff matchup.

The babycats just outscored the Celts by 51-28 in the second half. I thought they were trying to tank?!?!?

Re: Around The League
Kobe bryant out indefinitely with "severe ankle sprain," which he describes as his worst since 2000. Dwght's turn to be the man... let's see if he can do it and keep LA in the 8th spot. Btw, Dwight had just 10pts and went 0/3 from the free throw line tonight.

Re: Around The League
Play was for sure dirty. But I'm just glad we get to see Dwight exposed for the #1 option that he is. I pray Dantoni starts posting up Dwight. It'll make for some good comedy.

Re: Around The League
Dwight will get exposed again being the focal point of the offense with his crappy post ups. BTW I don't think that play was that dirty, he is trying to cover one of the greatest shot makers ever and the end of the game, so of course he is going to be all over him.
