I think Favors is a excellent young talent but I wouldn't be willing to mortgage half of my core for him. There's just nothing about him that make me believe that he'll be anything better than a less than stellar version of Amare Stoudemire in his prime, which is similar to Amare now.

Neither would I. Good thing no one proposed doing that. What I DID propose was Kemba, MKG and Mano De Piedras for Favors, Hayward and their two first round picks. Favors is a much better defender than Amare and Amare was an amazing offensive player in his prime; the two aren't much alike.

I posted basically the same thing a couple days ago but I don't know where its at, so this will probably be my one and only post in this thread on what I would do.

Sign a solid player or two this off season with our cap space, draft our top 3 player. Use Ben Gordons expiring next season to sign another solid player, draft another top 3 player.

And thats it. Nothing fancy, but thats the obvious plan, and the plan we will more than likely take.

Tell me how? Great 3 point shooting with Redick and Hayward. Great post presence, i.e. Post play, rebounding, defense with Favors and Noel and Olynyk. Great young pg play drafting Kabongo and a very good vet to lead him. The team that I posted is has way more potential than the current craptastic roster.

You're just post padding. You're not adding anything of value to the conversation.

*clinches teeth* So, guy, why do you like Kabongo so much?

(realistically, you're Charlotte-Utah trade scenario has no chance of ever happening)

Oh, you talking about the guy that's projected to get drafted in the 2nd round? OK.

Neither are you. I'm just using less words.

And I have no need/desire to pad my post count. I made a simple and true observation that there is an inordinately high level of dumbassery in this thread.

Seeing Kabongo and Hayward as being better than Walker and MKG in the next couple years is hilarious.

Let's make a username bet. If he comes out this year and goes in the 1st round, you have to change your handle to whatever I want. If he comes out and is a second round pick, I have to change my username to the name of your choice. Deal?

why would I want to even make that bet, I couldn't care less about kabongo. thats why I asked whether hes even a projected first round because he obviously seems to be a pretty mediocre prospect from what I see

Combine Rondo and Kemba and that is Kabongo's potential; the kid's gonna be a star.

That is hilarious. Give MKG and Kemba five years and both will be all-stars in my opinion. I don't know how brainwashed Utah fans (or you) have to be to see either of them being even close to that caliber. Kabongo will be solid, Hayward is decent, but Kemba is already at a level neither of them will reach, and MKG's potential far exceeds either of them.

LOL at "you're just post padding" in the third post of a triple post.

I thought you were a troll, but now you're just sad at some times and hilarious at others.

EDIT: Just saw your thread on the GB, never mind, you're still a straight up troll.
