I think Favors is a excellent young talent but I wouldn't be willing to mortgage half of my core for him. There's just nothing about him that make me believe that he'll be anything better than a less than stellar version of Amare Stoudemire in his prime, which is similar to Amare now.
Neither would I. Good thing no one proposed doing that. What I DID propose was Kemba, MKG and Mano De Piedras for Favors, Hayward and their two first round picks. Favors is a much better defender than Amare and Amare was an amazing offensive player in his prime; the two aren't much alike.
