Kyrie out 3-4 weeks

Post#1 » by witnessraps » Mon Mar 11, 2013 8:38 pm

Guess it's definitely time to drop him now...first Rondo now Kyrie for me. Any ideas how I can get better? standard 9-cat

Roster:

Andre Miller
OJ Mayo
Goran Dragic
D. Gallinari
E. Ilyasova
K. Leonard
N. Pekovic
B. Lopez
R. Hibbert
K. Irving....
MWP
A. Aminu
L. Aldridge
O. Asik
K. Korver

Waiver wire: Hinrich, D. Harris, C. Butler, E. Kanter, J. Salmons, A. Gee, S. Livingston.

Maybe a 2 for 1 trade?

did you mean Tobias Harris as the 2nd Harris listed, or did you just put Devin Harris twice. Cause if its the former, well, then you have your answer right there

You have it easy. I've lost Gortat, Varejao, Big Baby, Mullens(did get THarris as replacement), and now Kyrie down and out for the count. Would be ok and manageable if I wasn't playing in a 16 team league. I'm the reigning 3 time consecutive champ, and this is how my reign will come to an end. Absolutely terrible and horrendous. Didn't think things would get worse after losing Bib Baby, Varejao, and Mullens all in the same week. Bot boy did it ever rain on my parade. FML.

I'm honestly targeting Harris myself of waivers, once Kyrie is allowed to be dropped and off the no drop list. Figure Harris can at least give me a few assists, although any attempt is futile. My season is done for all intents and purposes, heading into playoffs next week.

Same here...

So here are my options:
Devin Harris
Marco Bellinelli
Andre Miller

All of them lack something that Kyrie has, which sucks, but I can't do much about that. I'm pretty intrigued by Bellinelli but I'm not sure how long Hinrich will be out.

I like Belinelli also but in addition to Hinrich we have to worry about Rip Hamilton returning and taking minutes away.

I'm probably most interested in Miller, who was dropped in my league today and may go after him. I need his steals too.

In the meantime I've picked up Livingston since he will have job security for the rest of the season. He has looked decent off the bench, but truth be told I'll probably be dropping him for Miller.

to be honest, not many players can offer what Kyrie brings to the table. When healthy he's a legit top 5-15 player in fantasy. I actually like Miller if he's available. He's a decent option for assists if you need it. IF you are looking for 3's and points, then Bellinelli could be the better option. All depends on what your team needs.
