just goes to show favors' fouls aren't an issue. he's not getting more than 20MPG no matter what so he might as well use them.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

There are still 19 minutes left and he's already played 20. Plus, Marvin and Kanter are both playing fantastic - mine as well not alter the lineup.

the spurs just crushed OKC without parker. durant: 7-13 for 26 points, westbrook: 11-27 for 25 points. smh.

Why cry about player minutes? The Jazz snapped a too-long losing streak and got the job done they should have against a bad team.

Because most fans realize we're going nowhere this season and derive their excitement from seeing our future core get meaningful minutes that will prepare them to produce when we actually have a shot at contention?

Pretty much this.
But, I realize in my posts about Favors I sounded a bit like one of those Kanter homers I'm always complaining about; so I probably was a little out of line. It was good to see Evans play well and I liked that Corbin stuck with the lineup that was working.
We can't have it both ways: we can't complain about Corbin having too rigid a substitution pattern but then also complain when he deviates from the planned rotation to sub out a guy we like (in this case playing Evans over Favors).
I enjoyed watching that second unit play and not for the first time this year I thought: "Man, if this was who we relied on every night, we wouldn't be as good as our current squad, but I'd be rooting hard for these guys."
