Agreed. I'm here, and a belated congrats to Ty as well. I usually only check the basketball forums, but hadn't seen anything on Yahoo about this league.

Hey guys, that's right, I am still alive.

Listen, I can't apologize enough for the late start. I've been really slammed between working a couple jobs (both were in their busiest time of the year) and the run up to midterms at school. I'm on break now, though, and work is quieting down a bit, so I'm going to be focusing on getting the season up and running in the next few days.

If you guys are pissed and annoyed, I totally understand your frustration and am open to passing on the commissionership (I do think we've got a couple good candidates). However, I do think I should have the time to handle the legwork and I agree 100% that we should keep this thing going, there's no league like it that I've seen.

First, obviously, is going to be finding new members. I'll have a post up shortly on the forum to invite newcomers, but I'm also going to try to recruit some of the baseball mods as they're probably the most reliable.

I do have one personal nomination. The final member of the Kaz clan, Andrew, is himself probably the biggest baseball fan in his family and he's heavily interested in joining the league. I think we've had a good experience with these guys so far. All pretty reasonable, dependable and willing to stick with it when their team sucks (I'm looking at you Jon). I know in the past their has been some reservation in the past to straying from people who are already active members of the RealGM community, so that's why I'm calling it a nomination. If several of you are uncomfortable with it, we'll move on to other candidates. I do vouch for him though.

Glad to see pretty much everyone has checked in already, let's get this rolling!

Glad to hear all is well and you've been busy. Thanks for taking the time to get this going again. Anyone who is going to be ready to participate would be a great addition in my view.

I mean i'm basically the only one who finished in the bottom half of the league who didn't quit this year, so that's worth something right? Someone's gotta fill the role.

I'd say so. In fact, I'd even throw in all of your players and prospects and give you a shot at the dispersal draft.

Eh, league is seemingly dead anyways. Sadly. No one posts on realgm (at least baseball wise) so it really isn't the same.

For those unfamiliar with GYBE, he is the mod for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, San Diego Padres and the Trades and Transactions forums.

I've been invited to the league via CFan21, Sabertooth, and Kazanovicz. Just wanted to introduce myself and let you guys know that I'm excited to join. I got sick of dominating those three in a different league, so thought I would give the dynasty league a shot.

We're getting close here, guys. Still looking for the final new manager, but after that we'll jump right into the dispersal draft. I don't want to put the squeeze on anyone, but I think it looks pretty good that all the drafts will be done and everything will be settled and up and running by the start of the MLB season. Gonna keep up with the prep work on my end.

Haha, I brought it up jokingly to Kaz. He thought I was serious and wasn't interested.

I really do think it's a nice pool of players in the dispersal draft. WIll be nice to see all those OFs bigboy was hoarding get spread around a little bit.
