I dont get upset w/ the # of wins or losses because in the NBA every year you generally know who the true contenders are before the season starts and its only like 5 or 6 teams. I really dont care if we go to the playoffs if we are gonna get swept. I love basketball and I would like to see a more compotent product on the floor.

Whats pisses me off more than anything is the decisions are organization makes in drafting, and improving the team. After all this losing we've done the past 2 years I still dont see one star player on the team or even anyone with the potential to be and the city is basically begging for 1. That pisses me off

1) As a Bobcats fan, do you still get upset when your team loses? No. I feel sorry for the players, and fear for their long term confidence more than anything else.

2) What inspires you as a fan and keeps you rooting for them? Watching the young talent develop? I am a basketball fanatic, and the Bobcats are North Carolina's team. I plan to always support them even if they never play winning basketball.

3) Have you transitioned into more of an NBA fan in general rather than a Bobcats fan? For instance, Heat fans are die-hard Heat fans. Their team is always in contention and most probably don't care about other teams. As a Bobcats fan, do you care more about other teams?

I began as an nba fan. I have been watching basketball for thirty years. I was originally a Dr. J fan, then a MJ fan. When the Hornets came into existence I began to follow them as a team. When they left and the Cats were formed I transitioned. Outside of the Cats I follow Golden State with a casual eye on our rivals in Washington, New Jersey, New York, Boston, Chicago, Cleaveland, and Miami. I hate the Lakers (organization not players) with a passion that I can not put into words.

1. Yes, I get upset. But then I think that it will get better, especially with a better draft pick, so I get over it. But I like to have wins sprinkled in there so we don't lose like 56 in a row.

2. This is a stupid question. Once you pick a team, they are yours. Anything other than that is blatant bandwagon jumping. Been a Bobcats fan since their inception. Who else would I root for? I'm not some wussy homer.

3. See question 2. And Heat fans pre-wade, hahahahahahaha. By the way, your line of questioning makes me think you have no idea of real fandom. No respect for people who just jump from team to team based on who is good. Once Lebron leaves, Wade can't carry the team, and Bosh is gone, we'll see if the Heat still have the fans. I know that when the Bobcats start winning titles, I'll be at the front of the line of the parade, and I will have earned it. And for other teams, I hate them all. I respect and enjoy watching players, and wish they were on the Bobcats, but other teams can all suck.
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

I was 13 years old and a die-hard Laker fan until 2004 and since for some supernatural reason I gave up the Lakers for the Bobcats, I am getting beyond frustrated considering I am all about the Bobcats and I only follow former Bobcats and their teams if I follow any, and when I say nothing but Bobcats I mean people will even in the virtual world in 2k games will plead with me to play with someone other than the Bobcats and I refuse, I am 22, will be 23 in November and I have never been more frustrated with a team than this one (that's bad considering I am also a Cubs fan), but in my personal opinion I believe our front office is about as clueless as our government, I will give it two years AFTER this year is over before I write this "OKC model" as a success or failure. I know OKC was all luck though, but maybe it'll work for us as well.....

other than home team fans (I'm a Cavs fan, so I understand that obviously), what is appealing about being Bobcats fan?

Jordan as an owner maybe?

or are you guys hipsters who want to be Bobcats fans before it's cool to be a Bobcats fan once they're good..

You chose the name Kemba Walker. Ok buddy. I bet you sometimes say "we" instead of "The Charlotte Bobcats Organization" too. You're SO pandered to!

If the Cavs moved to Cincinatti, would you still support them? What if they moved to London as the first European team in the NBA or something?

What if you moved to Houston Texas? Would you suddenly hate the Cavs?
