I've looked at a lot of mock drafts lately, and they are all so scattered and different, some don't even have McLemore in the top 5, or Smart. Most have Noel at number 1, and Shabazz from what I've seen shuffles in and out of the top 5 a lot. Porter and Oladipo seem to be locked in the top 5. The lists keep changing weekly so it's hard to say who is locked in at the top 5. I know Noel/McLemore should be locked in the top 5. It's just a scary as hell draft lol

I'd love to see Hennigan and his scouts reports and thoughts on the draft...if one thing is for sure they got their act together

I personally didn't boo howard, the good makes up for the bad in my opinion.

Then it was you and the Lakers fans. Everyone around me certainly cheered whenever he missed a shot!

Can't put my finger on it, but I'm just not a fan of Marcus Smart. But since I've only seen highlights and last nights game I won't hate on him too much.

It'd be nice if a team falls in love with a guy in workouts and we can trade the pick for another next year. I know there's like a 0.01% chance of that happening, but I can dream

Yeah, I am cooling on my Smart-or-bust stance as well. I have watched him play a few times in the past few weeks and I am just not seeing enough point guard skill shine through in his game.

What a terrible year to tank...the only part of this draft that I like is the 12-20 range...should be some nice value there.

I wonder if the Magic win the 1st overall pick if they would trade down for like a pick 4 thru 8 and a top 10-15.

I would definitely do that if I was calling the shots and there was a willing and able buyer. Lots of depth in this draft, but nobody who is going to turn your franchise around.

Would be nice to find another Toby Harris and Vucevic or Harkless types of players to develop.

Agreed. The more assets we can develop, the better chance we have at landing the next disgruntled superstar. Going by the idea you had, I would assume you had Phoenix in mind as a trade partner? Having the 7th pick, one of these players would fall to us: McLemore, Smart, Noel, Muhammad, Oladipo, Bennet, Porter or Zeller. Personally, I want nothing to do with Zeller, but I would be ok with any of those others at #7. As for the 14th pick, I would be pleased with Burke or McCollum there.

If we can trade down and get two first round picks preferably a kind of Phoenix setup as in having two lotto picks then i would take that deal. I believe Phoenix has #7 and #14 right? if they were sold on someone in the top 3 we''ll pick for them and they'll pick for us. McCollum/Olapido? Burke/Len? IDK there could be so much combinations, but in that scenario a lot would have to go right

Agreed. If the Magic get the 1st overall pick, I bet there will be teams out there willing to do whatever to get Noel. So, Henny would be wise to trade down a few spots for a 4-7 pick and another lottery pick or prospect. Heck, Phoenix could even trade Gortat to another team for a pick going 10-15 to flip to the Magic. I wouldn't mind Zeller at a late lottery pick like 14 to backup Vucci. Then, you have Center sustained for years and O-Quinn could split more at PF.

I like the idea of trading down, developing young players next season and then drafting Wiggins in 2014.
