With 3.9 seconds remaining in the Atlanta Hawks' 96-92 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on March 13, the Lakers' Kobe Bryant attempted a jump shot over the Hawks' Dahntay Jones. After review at the league office, video replay confirmed that referees missed a foul call on Jones as he challenged Bryant's shot and did not give him the opportunity to land cleanly back on the floor. Bryant should have been granted two free throws.

Too little too late but nonetheless might make up for us in some other games ;)

Intentional or not, the league is considering to penalize Dahntay Jones. One option suggested was to cut his left leg off and be fed to the vultures. David Stern waas reported to be contemplating on whether attaching the leg back again or permanently denying Jones full custody of his leg.

Too bad our team can't petition to replay the end. It was cool when Miami got to replay the last minute of - I think a pacers game? - because someone was issued a 6th foul when it was only his 5th.

That was Shaq (then on Miami), but I think he was traded to Phoenix before they replayed it

Good on them for acknowledging the mistake. It was simply a dirty play in my book.

Jones is always salty with Kobe. Like I said in the GT he has no chance of guarding Kobe so he always goes to the dirty card.

Pffftt....I wouldn't bank on that. The league always does this crap, hell they admitted to mistakes involving Toronto one week then proceeded to screw them again the next. I don't believe in these soft ways of winning games, hell man up, play D and do the things you're suppose to do and you'll win games. Not looking for gift wins.......that's for losers.

My team won, bruh. Your team's complaining.

Josh Smith, Jeff Teague, Zaza Pachulia and Lou Williams were out. . . .

And we won.

I'm just pointing out to y'all that, if you want to keep score, the Lakers always get the plus side of the foul ledger sheet when they play the Hawks. Kinda hard for us to sympathize with your complaints.
Howard mugged all night long (on one play, he fouled Al Horford on the arm, made the arm bleed yet Horford was called for a technical when he swung the injured arm near Howard) . . .
on another play, Howard body-slammed Ivan Johnson so badly that even YOUR announcers laughed that they "got away with that one" . . .
Bryant was spotlighted by ESPN, illegally distracting Kyle Korver on an important, end-of-the-game FT . . .
Bryant kicked Dahntay Jones in the groin on the play Bryant was injured.

Crying about one call in the middle of preferential treatment is . . . well, interesting.

No one is crying about the foul call really, more about the injury and an ankle that looks swollen like a baseball.
