The Evolution of Kobe Bryant

It's a tough call with me because everybody wants to make the comparison between me and Michael, but our paths were just different. You almost have to evaluate our careers from two different lenses. Ultimately, I want to be known as a person who was just hell-bent on winning. If people say that about me, I'll be happy.

Of course, I would," he says. "Honestly, this franchise is part of me. I've been very lucky that I followed this team religiously [while growing up] and I've just happened to play for this team my whole career. I would love [ownership]. If I could be part of this organization forever, it would be very special."

Very good article by Jay Mariotti (wasnt aware he was still with ESPN). Goes into depth about Kobe views of DH12 and his future here. Also the hardships and challenges that he's been through in his 17 seasons. His relationship with Dr. Buss.

Its a great read fellas I highly recommend you all check it out. Pretty long though so be ready to spend some time on this

Didnt read it yet, but it is always unfair to compare his career to Michael's (not the player styles though) because Kobe came in coming off the bench and not expected to be a superstar from the beginning and to carry a team.

You take away the first three seasons where he slowly developed into a principal player for the team, and then compare careers I am sure Kobe's will be right there with Michael's.

It would be great to see Kobe always in some capacity with the organization. Perhaps a coach (which I personally dont think he will be successful at ) or a GM
Kobe Bryant forever
GO LAKERS
8-)
I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.
