^^(I think the 2 handed push in the back I linked to earlier is worse considering how dangerous that could have been)

And I say, if he was trying to get Kobe called on the leg kick he should have used his left leg against Kobe's kicked right leg, not sticking his right leg under Kobe's back left foot (which was not kicked, whatsoever).

Hope you enjoyed your time on the big boys board, but I'm actually done now and am moving on :D.

There are several angles that show Jones staring straight at that ref.

Why would it be so unreasonable then to assume he was looking at the ref to see if the ref would notice him undercutting Kobe?

Is the question is kobe going to play tonight....or should he play tonight? In the back of my mind I think he will, probably score 40 or some craziness...but at the same time if it really is severely injured ankle sprain than 2 days is not enought to heal...and playing on it is risky.

“I think that was a dirty play,” Gibson said. “He’s been known to be a guy to do that.”

“When I saw (Bryant’s injury), it (ticked) me off because (Jones) was on the team with Paul George last year," Gibson said. "Rumor has it, he taught (George) a few tricks.”

“If you watch the tape, after the shot was taken, he kept walking forward toward him,” Gibson said Friday. “He never really turned around to see if the shot went in or anything. He kept walking toward him looking at the ground the whole time.”

Byron Scott -

“I’m not goig to comment on Dahntay Jones and some of his antics he does on the basketball court,” Scott said Friday. “Me and him got into it a couple of years ago anyway. We’ll leave it at that.”

When Jones was with the Denver Nuggets in 2009 and Scott was coaching the New Orleans Hornets, he took exception with the way Jones was defending Hornets star Chris Paul in a playoff series.

“I can appreciate anybody that plays hard, but when you get to the point where you’re being a little dirty, that’s the thing that kind of aggravates me,” Scott said four years ago. “When you get to the point where you’re being a little dirty then I don’t appreciate that – and I don’t respect it.”

I just don't want him to play on a bad wheel and feel like he needs to take 25 shots as well. We would need him to play more of a decoy role rather than offensive first option.

Dave McMenamin ‏@mcten Kobe worked out on the floor for approximately 15 minutes just now, with Gary Vitti observing. "Looked OK" according to a source

lold @ the only fan the hawks have.

seriously i feel like this has been beaten to death but if you dont think jones put his foot under kobe and you also dont think it was a dirty play then you are one of the following:

a) blind

b) a hater. possibly of kobe and quite probably of the lakers.

c) a combination of b and c

d) a potato

it was a dirty **** play and by definition a violation of the rules so it could have easily been called a foul. i personally think it was fine as a no call and the fact that it didnt get called doesnt bother me. what bothers me is that kobe is now hurt while we try to make a push for the playoffs.

Bruce was dirty as ****! Make a play like that once get a warning from the league... Do it twice and it's suspension without pay time!! That's just as bad if not worse than cloths lining a guy going up for a dunk.
Sometimes being wrong is awesome!!! :D
