I for one has always been a Steve Blake supporter. While others sometimes with reason and many times gratuitously criticize him, I always appreciated his good work ethic, good attitude, and willingness to take a shot literally and figuratively for the team's sake. Also he's a fellow believer and I think hes been blessed by God to have his feet in the laker organization while outsiders always call for his head. Revelations 3:7b-8 is what I believe in in these cases.
Kobe Bryant forever

Both Antawn and Steve were putting in work last night. Well deserved credit goes to both of them.

Yeah, but for a small white guy his shot is really ugly. He makes it but the form is terrible. :)

Good for Blake man.

It still bothers me that he was getting death threats in last years playoffs over a great attempt to win the game. :/

Game 2 vs OKC. for the unintiatied

All time pg list:

1) Magic
2) Oscar
3) Steve Blake
4) Steve Nash
5) idiah Thomat

Hope blake keeps it up in all seriousness. He is a good player and doesnt get enough credit on this team. He is a big part of why there is more balance to this team and why this team has been winning.

ive been defending steve blake as an average point guard for what feels like 1000 years now. people wanted to like string him up and would not stop about how horrible he was. well hes way better than duhon and morris and hes actaully a pretty solid backup. its pretty obvious since hes come back to notice the difference. people are just dumb.

His inability to beat out fish was har dot take, especially since its old fish and not young one, will say that this may be the first year he doesn't feel expectations period to be the guy who takes the of reigns and it makes him play well

Good back up point guard. Problem was before freaking Derek Fisher was our starting PG.

He has played amazingly since his returned and frankly he's always been rather serviceable as a backup. Unfortunately, like ChrispShots said, if you have derek fisher (the worst producing starter in the league at the time) starting ahead of you, higher production will naturally be expected to offset dfish's deficiencies.

He's in a system thats good for his playstyle now. He was horrible in the triangle and Mike brown's offense

Another good night for him and Jamison. Both combined for 9/15 from the 3. Hopefully they can continue this come playoff time.

MDA wanted him for his offense ever since he was in PHX. Now I guess we can see why.

thats cos d'antoni has shelved the crummy offense he ran and started coaching for the current personnel he has on the lakers.

not only that, but it seems in most of the timeouts he's usually shouting about defense.

give d'antoni his props dude
