First of all he had to be gassed, he played at least 37 minutes the last three days and then had to deal with that Louisville pressure. Second, he dominated Siva and Smith in that first half and showed great ball handling ability and made some great shots. Third, he didnt really have much help bringing the ball up as Triche was a complete mess with 9 turnovers. And forth, when your tired being mugged by the other team and not getting any calls doesnt help. I think hes going to have a big tournament not having to deal with the awful big east officiating.

If he makes his free throws the way he normally does, he finished with 17 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 2 turnovers (taking 2 off because they were the awful flagrant call and the play where he bobbled the ball and Hancock just plowed through him to jar it loose). And hell, if his teammates could have made ANYTHING in the last 15 minutes, he probably would have ended up with around 17, 13, 5, and 2. That's a hell of a game. He played very well last night.

Why don't we add some points because some of his shots may have rattled out or add an assist or two for missed shots that should've gone in? Maybe another rebound that was stolen away?

Lol, ok, so he finished with 11, 9, 5, and 2 regardless. That's still a very good game. Could have been much better if he just knocked down his free throws the way he usually does, but he put all of his skills on display last night.

He looked like the best guard on the floor for the majority of the night, which is pretty good going up against Siva and Smith.

Do you seriously want to play that game? He also could have had a few more turnovers with the way he was handling the ball. He's just good enough to lose with in the NBA, imo.

He absolutely has no jump shot, has choked a lot at the line this year (so has Triche).. makes some real dumb passes/decisions.

He will be a very poor man's Ricky Rubio on the next level.
