I had to listen to Shane Smith instead when I saw it, dude has the craziest stories. Rogan is just drunk and obnoxious though. Did you hear this? I stopped halfway through, but it was kind of awkward, I think for Shane as well.

The UG said Wren episode was legit, but he posts there, so they kind of ride his nuts (in an understandable fashion). My Fridays at work are usually super slow, so I may give this one a try

The Bas one was good as expected but I had listened to the first one just before (I had never heard it, didn't realize it existed) and Bas kind of repeated a bunch of the same stories. Still, overall awesome though. Love how Bas pretty much taught himself to fight.

pretty sure this is from American Psycho but do note that Rory has terrible skin. I feel bad for the kid.

Nick lost me in the presser today, on the 1% chance there was some brilliance to his madness.

He's a martial artist blah blah blah, yet he wants new point systems and this and that? New scoring system, fine, but when you are talking about point deductions for stalling, etc. it just doesn't jive. Argue for longer rounds or something. If you are such a 'real martial artist', stop crying for point deductions.

"My name is Patrick Bateman. I’m 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now..."

Yeah, I know that. Is it from a comic or something? It looks like Rory, or maybe Patrick Bateman looked like that in the comic?

I'm so confused.

This is cringeworthy. Rogan is literally on the phone yelling at some guy. Yikes. He's hammered.

It's from the intro of the movie. There seems to be an American Psycho comic book but they maybe just used Rory's face over Patrick''s?

http://www.benjaminmarra.com/index.php? ... an-psycho/

Actually seems pretty cool.

Dana just announced Rousey as TUF coach (along with the winner Tate/Cat) and a half male, half female 135 cast.

They could call it "TUF: Brazil".

I wanted an all female cast. Half and half sounds like asking for trouble.

Rory MacDonald moves up to number 3 in ufc ww rankings. He needs to stay hurt, he'll be champ before he knows it. :)

I'm waiting for the moment when one of the female fighters is forced to drop out of the tourney because one of the male fighters in the house got her pregnant...

Crazy.

To me, he's still at the back end of the top 10. You've gotta do more than beat 2012 BJ Penn to get in the top 5 of a killer division like WW.

Apologies if this has already been discussed but I couldn't find any discussion on it myself. Just wanted to know what your thoughts are on Fallon Fox, the first outed transgender WMMA fighter?

I've read a bit regarding the medical views of transgender women in fighting normal women and there is clearly some controversy in terms of classification on what is considered female in sports. The IOC mandates that transgender athletes must have had the surgery, be legally recognized as female (or male) and must been on hormone replacement authority for at least 2 years. However, this classification is not based on clear medical consensus but rather what the governing body has decided.

I'm personally split on this issue.

I see why it's controversial, sorta, but the medical science clearly points out that she has irreversible maleness after adolescence - bone structure, tendons, etc. Limiting her current hormone make-up cannot reverse that.

I don't see how there's anyway you can let her fight with that advantage.
