I'm not saying it was my opinion, for the record. I'm just saying that very few people were talking about the Ravens as Super Bowl candidates at the beginning of the season. Most of the talks centered around the Niners, Patriots and Broncos. I'm sure if we looked it up, the bookies probably didn't have that in the top four at the beginning of the season.

they were the most popular pick to come out of afc on this board. bookies gave them 15-1 odds, which is the 3rd best odds in afc i believe.

Yeah there were a lot of people picking the Harbuagh bowl iirc.

It wasn't till the middle - late of the seaosn where people started to doubt the Ravens.

Guess I have a skewed point of view living in Las Vegas. Most of the betters there were with the Patriots and Broncos. Ravens were rarely discussed.
