Old enough to have watched Lakers with West and Baylor.
You?

Horry isn't in serious conversations as a HOFer, but he seems to think so...
Reading comprehension fail. I'm not an advocate of Horry for HOF, but a lot of people are. According to THOSE people's standards, Cassell should be a lock for the HOF. Now if your standard for HOF is players like Jordan, Duncan, Shaq, Kobe, and Lebron, then Cassell obviously doesn't belong there.
I'm not a strong advocate for Cassell being in the HOF. A ROLE PLAYER though, he most definitely was not.
Blame Rasho wrote:My goodness... you are really dense. He was a role player, nothing more during the time he won a championships with the Rockets and as a spare with Boston. How do you not follow that? In his time that he wasn't a role player, he had only one all NBA nod to his resume and didn't stand out compared to his contemporary peers various years. It is clear that you are just arguing with people for the sake of arguing.

Sam Cassell was a role player. 15/6 is nothing more than a role player. That would make every single starting PG in the league currently a lock for HoF.
