Not to mention our coach had 4 days to prepare for this game.

NFL coaching staffs put together an entire game plan in 4 days for Thursday night games, and ours couldn't anticipate Smith/Horford PnRs in the same amount of time.

This team seriously needs some interior toughness. Also how.many and 1's did this team give out. They foul like.a bunch of school girls.
I really wish kmart was on this team. He would've made some hard fouls.
What bothers me most is the softy foul from lopez. Noone fears his interior presence cuz they know he's soft.

Yeah, last time I said one more and I'd end it. And everything's cool. Thanks.

Just will never understand posters like him or certain Knick fans. Why gloat and troll over another team's loss when your star player might need surgery and your free falling? Not to mention, this loss only puts the Nets 1 game behind them, it's not like they magically gained 5 games on us.

Just stupid logic there. GB does it better.

I can't believe the amount of open layups Gerald Wallace blew this game and this season overall I wish there was a stat for it because I know he'd be number 1

Disappointing loss. This team lacks the killer instinct to take itself to the next level...

are you fcking joking me? i was pissed last night, then i wake up to read this gem:

Joe: "I'm very conscious of the standings. That's why it hurts so bad. We could have done something special tonight and we blew it. We have no idea they were going to run pick and rolls with Josh and Al, we had not prepared for it"

How in the hell do you not prepare for the pick and roll with 4 days to scout the team? how do you not prepare for it when you have nothing to do but watch film and make adjustments and practice your game plan.

but forget that.... forget the hawks for a second. Why in the world are we not devoting an HUGE amount of practice time to defending the pick and roll in general???!?!?!

if there is 1 thing we suck at, 1 thing we simply get crushed on, its the pick and roll. there is no excuse for us not to go over that extensively with any and all practice time we get. no wonder there is no improvment there and teams continue to gash us with it. man, PJ really needs to go and go before the playoffs. that is simply irresponsible coaching. i didnt buy into the "PJ is sabotaging us thing" but now i just cant help but to believe its true.

i dont have twitter... can someone please barage the nets beat writers with questions on why PJ didnt practice against the pick and roll when it killed us all year?

I didn't get home until 9pm last night and when I got home I turned on my TV to find out that my cable box was broke and I needed to get a new one. I just installed my new Comcast box and I'm waiting for YES Network to replay the game from last night.

I haven't had a chance to watch any highlights or read any wrap-ups, but from what I've heard around town and on the radio the Nets struggles were because of their lack of inconsistency on both sides of the ball (the usual).

I'm not sure why this Nets team was not energized after coming off of a 4 day break, and it's not like they were playing a scrub team that's under .500 , I'm not saying the Hawks are a quality team, but we are currently in a playoff race with them and if that's not enough motivation than I don't know what is!

PJ didn't prepare for the pick and roll so his team could build a comfortable deficit.

Kris Humphries said the team practiced once out of the 4 days off. PJ told the Nets to close all gyms even though players wanted to come in so they could "rest" up for the road trip. Brook said he did nothing but sleeping.

Are you f*cking serious?

No one even woke him up for the game.
