The NFL is not perfect but if nothing else there are no super teams and almost every season there is a new champion. Cannot say that about the NBA.
I have a feeling Wade is going to decline soon. You can already tell he's not as explosive getting to the basket as he was in 2010. Dude hit wall after wall everytime he tried to move on Lee and Bradley. They have some very old people on that team. Haslem isnt the same, Ray isnt, Battier isnt..LeBron will still be the best, but that supporting cast is going down real soon. Believe it or not they are pretty **** important to that teams success.

A team that raises division banners will never be relevant enough to even touch the soul of the greatest basketball city in the world. Now go away cockroach.

Just cry it out buddy.
PS - Wishing injury on the team was a nice touch. Stay classy Celtics. Karma is a bitch indeed.
One dude wishing injury and the rest telling him it's not cool makes us lack class? I'm am feeling that your math is off in this one.

Let's not forget about them retiring numbers for players on opposing teams too. I love how Marino's jersey is there too. Fitting, since Miami Heat fans are really just Dolphins fans looking for a place with air conditioning.

And my personal favorite of banners being hung in Miami!

Eh, it's not that I want to wish injury on them. It's just completely unfair that we get all kinds of injuries and cheat fans act like they're short handed when Chalmers twists his ankle mildly or something. That's why I said karma is a bitch. Every single team that is a pretender/contender has suffered major injuries except for the cheat, and they prance around arguing for foul calls still. If lebron was out for 3 weeks, I guarantee these **** and their fans would come down back to earth.

I hate the lakers with all my heart but at least they are a respectable franchise. Those banners and retiring Jordan make it hard to respect the heat. I mean seriously a banner for gold medals....

Wouldn't you need 18 championships to claim our soul?

Lulz. Embarassing! They will retire anything out there. In 3 years Ray Allen and Juwan Howard will be in the rafters along with a display case of Norris Cole's hair at the entrance of the arena.

The problem is as long as they have James they are going to continue to dominate even if/when Wade starts to decline soon. Plus I simply don't see him declining enough in 3 years where it hurts the heat. They still have Bosh. Yeah Bosh is a joke to people but the reality is that he is still a very good player and he is still young. Of course the last issue is that good players will show up to Miami and play for almost free because the NBA has about 15789132 exceptions a team over the cap can use. Good players are going to keep showing up there to keep the heat on top.

I never said he was as good as Jordan. Yeah they have won 1 title but is there any doubt they are winning another one this year? Is there any doubt they are making the finals the next 3 seasons after this? I said once this super team was formed this was the 90's NBA again and this is exactly what it is turning into.

Wishing ACL injuries on players huh? No wonder why your star PG is injured. Just keep showing how classless some of you Celtics fans are. You're making the Knicks fans look really superior right now...

It's one guy. Put your broad paintbrush away kid.
That's why I didn't say all of of the Celtics fan base. You would think after seeing Rondo go down to an ACL injury that some posters on here who are Celtics fans wouldn't wish that on anybody else. I flat out just don't like the Celtics but I've never wished an injury on anybody on their team. I wanted to see Rondo, KG & Sullinger out there last night because nothing is more satisfying than beating a Celtics team at full strength so we won't always have to hear the "IF" factor...

Maybe you should use that little PM button you see and message that person and tell him your true feelings instead of calling out "some" of use Celtics fan when in reality it was one person.

Re: Dear Miami
I dislike the Heat a lot, do not hate them, hate is a pretty strong feeling. I hope KG is healthy for the playoffs, cause it's about to go down..
We definitely have a chance at beating Miami, regular games do mean something, especially this 1, but consider, that Miami has lost the regular season series against us 3-1 in each of the last 2 years and they tossed us out of the playoffs. So these games are nice and meaningful, but not as meaningful as the playoffs.
Man, we really did miss KG in this, so many defensive lapses happening at bad time.. Hope we can rest him against Hornets if needed and let him come back healthy, cause he's really really important for us, considering Rondo/Sully are gone for the season.

Good assessment:

So I guess you don't remember the Heat playing the first 5 games of the ECF with you guys without Bosh. No one was crying then. You just play the hand you're dealt.

We had no Bradley, Green and Wilcox. Our most important contributors from the bench were Bass, Green and Wilcox. But unfortunately Green and Wilcox had heart problems and our best defensive player Bradley had problems with his shoulders.
I dont think the Heat wouldve won if those 3 players were healthy.

So, I guess, heat posters on this forum wont whine like crazy if any of their main players don't play for a full 7 game playoff serie? I don't think so...
Anyhow. We were shorthanded- doesn't matter, no excuses, we should've actually won that, but we lost. KG in particular would've made a huge difference tho, cause he's still 1 of the best defenders in the league and still >>>>>>BOSH any day of the week.
