Anyone else believe Orlando has a chance to go into Indiana while upsetting the Pacers tonight? I know I do. Simple logic says 'no' for the simple fact Orlando's only 18-49 overall. In other words, only ahead of the Charlotte Bobcats. But I really like Orlando tonight. Which would put us less than .5 behind Indy for the two seed.

Really like three young talents on Orlando's team. Their starting Center in Nikola Vucevic who's only 22 years of age. Currently averaging 12.4 points, 11.5 boards and 1.0 blocks per game along with a strong field goal percentage of .525%. An up and coming talent at the Center position without question. A true 7'0 footer at 240 pounds as well. Great matchup between Hibbert and Vucevic tonight.

I've loved him dating back to last year with St. John's, but Moe Harkless is a boat load of overall talent, potential and ability. Already starting as Orlando's SF while only being 19 years of age. He's only averaging 6.8 points, 0.6 assist and 4.1 boards per game but I look for Harkless to attack tonight. Kid put up 23 points and 9 boards last time out against Milwaukee. Looking for another strong performance from Moe tonight.

Also, an underrated value, but this Tobias Harris kid can flat out ball. 2nd year player, went 19th overall and only 20 years of age. Tough New York kid down low inside the paint. Starting PF and has really shown his worth over the past 12 games. Has averaged 15.7 points, 7.3 boards, 1.2 blocks and 1.0 steals per game during his previous 12 games.

I just have that weird feeling, that Orlando is coming to compete tonight, and I'm not sure Indiana's ready for it. Then you have solid players such as Jameer Nelson (PG) and Arron Afflalo (2G) rounding out their starting 5. Beno Udrih and E'Twaun Moore makes for decent depth at the guard positions. Although being with Hedo Turkoglu and Glen Davis is hurting this young Orlando team.

I'll pay close attention to the likes of Moe Harkless (SF) and Nikola Vucevic (C). If these two kids perform, Orlando has a chance.

Wait. Are you saying Wade is some alternate reality Batman? Like one is Adam West Batman and the other is Schumacher ^^^^ty Batman? It's impossible to have two Bruces.

So what the hell is Chris Bosh then?

Batgirl?

instead of having batman robin alfred

they have 2 batmans and one robin, hence they are rolling everyone these days

the fact NY hung tight with them last time shows how good NY can be, but with amare out, they stand no chance now

You really need to stop

go on? seen their record and play recently?

they are just waltzing over everyone

BOS shot 60% from the field and still could only manage a meager lead going into halftime

They've been taken to the wire by the Celtics, Magic and Sixers...that's two non-playoff teams and a team that was missing two of it's best players (KG and Rondo). I couldn't believe the media sending out that kool aid like "getting into close games with bad teams just builds characters and shows they're even BETTER than if they blew those teams out."

I like Vucevic a lot...Harris has potential. I think Harkless could become something but right now he's more suited to being an off the bench role player on any decent team.

FWIW, in the NBATV pregame show Iggy called Melo the hardest cover in the NBA for his position.

You are right, they don't. What they have is a Magic Johnson on HGH, a guy who is 90% as good as Kobe, a poor man's Horace Grant, the best three point shooter in the history of the game, Battier, a guy who Thugger compared to Derek Fischer and a reasonably good coach who gets his marching orders from one of the most successful player/coach/general managers in the history of the game.

Which is pretty good.
Play time is over.

They really got themselves a great deal considering they could have ended up with absolutely nothing. A lot of young potential over there.

Really thought Orlando had a chance tonight. Down 14 points with 4:47 remaining here in the 3rd, but it's not looking good.

Since the all-star break Russell Westbrook has been brilliant...like may have turned a corner in his play to move out of top PG discussions and into top players period discussions.

Also: If there's one old player I wish we had (fitting Knicks theme), it's probably Andre Miller.

What do you guys think about Jeff Green putting up 43 pts the other night? He looked great attacking the rim. His moves looked a bit like LeBron there... his outside shots were falling but his attacking rim was unstoppable.

Really thought nothing of it, outside of he took advantage of a great opportunity.

I'd think more of it if he does it again in the next upcoming games.

I've seen Monta Ellis get the piss taken out of him quite a bit on this forum but he has been on an absolute tear the last month or so.

More dangerous than a lion pride? Knicks pride! I know they woulda whooped these Heat

lin gets clowned every time he plays MIA

this MIA is just amazing, they have 2 modern day jordans + a robin playing the role of alfred....just unstoppable

Lin played them first time in his 10th-11th real NBA game. Second time he airballed the game-winning shot was like his 45th real NBA game. It's like his rookie season, cmon.

He's been progressing slowly but steadily as a player, just like any other rookie/ young player. Even well known Lin hater HakeemKnicks now believes he's better than Felton and in his own word said he never wanted Lin to leave. His plays are opening eyes: he's got amazing vision with passing skills, he makes his teammates better (Jared Jeffries, Steve Novak, Greg Smith, Toney Douglas, Omer Asik, got tons of lay ups/ open 3s/ dunks because of him), he has elite first step and attacks the rim, he has his own pace, his 3s are starting to fall now, amazing FT shooter, great defender (takes charges, very good help defender, one of the best 1-on-1 defender in L, top 5 in spg).

Remember with Lin controlling the tempo, we started games demolishing opponents in 1st quarters of games with abundance of spacing, all players get the ball/ shots, we were unstoppable offensively at home, and those games were played in his 25th-35th real NBA games.

Had we kept him and had we let him develop, surrounded by the vets who always make the young players focus on the prize (championship), maybe not this year, but next year, it's not impossible to say these Lion Five (Melo-Shump-Amare-Tyson-Lin) would be a legitimate threat for the Heat.
